sister christian

the dawn is near

you draw open the curtains
the pigeons coo
cool water from the well
and

the morning light
streams through
I hear the church bell

I will meet you there
and look at your blue eyes and
strawberry blonde hair

I promise not to stare
sister christian.

God is good we all shall say
and in truth
we'll ask for help throughout the day

It is for love we all shall pray
and as your brother now I'll  say

May Jesus our saviour and His shalom
guard your heart
and give you peace and mercy and rest
and remind you, you are always blessed.

I know that you are not asking me of my opinion, but allow me to say that poem paints a vivid picture.

well done,

Poetry helps me with my attitude when I get sour. (If it is inspired, it could compliment the Canon)

Shalom to you,
Brother in Christ
I understand what you mean.  However, let us try to replace anything sour with sweetness.

"I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live.  I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord."

Psalm 104:33-34
Right.
You reference the Psalms. I am thankful that you can see my need for positive recommendations.
