Do you ever wonder about the Two Witnesses?

I do.  I tend to imagine that it is a married couple much like the couple in:
Acts 18:26 When Priscilla and Aquila heard him preaching boldly in the synagogue, they took him aside and explained the way of God more accurately.

Apollos was mentored by them, and they refined/edified his belief..

I guess I think that the Two Witnesses will be like that in their day...any of you have thoughts, insights, a word? concerning The Two who will come and witness boldly?

bye for now,
Kim
They way I see it the two are the real Moses and Elijah who are raised from the dead a few years before the tribulation starts.  I think National ISrael will accept Jesus as Savior soon.  Then water will come out of the Mount of Olives some.  BUt after the big end time earth quake it will turn the two fountains into rivers.  YOu see, MOses and Elijah come back when all Jews are r4aised from the dead to see National Israel believeing in Yeshua and they follow along.  George BUrns, Dinah Shore, Carl Marx, King Menasseh, on and on, they are raised and all believe in Yeshua soon I think.

Yeah, It is believed as you have written...

but I guess as a woman, I feel things...more, you know?  and to me the scripture is a picture of a lot of 'couples' from Adam and Eve to  Abraham and Sarah; Joseph and Asenath; Moses and Zipporah...who did that circumcision thingy to Moses...;  (((I mention Jacob and Rachel..because of the love Jacob had for her..but we know he had a LOT of wives!)))) Esther and king Xerxes.  plight, honor, trial, devotion, blessing, praise, worship etc all through the eyes of 'couples'.
I just thought it would express the picture marriage has in the bible to us the Church, the Bride of Christ, and the Bridegroom, Christ.

It just touches the poet's heart in me..and makes their coming: (the two witnesses), seem human, real, and something to embrace.

bye for now,
Kim
