Why won't anyone who believes you have to be water baptized answer this question? DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT SAVE YOU OR NOT????

-Clear scripture shows the Holy Spirit was received before they were water baptized....SO ANSWER MY QUESTION.....

Jesus already answered your question...
John 3:5
Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

steadfast can you answer this question in debate about baptism?

How is John 3;5 water=baptism when the Nt was not even in effect yet?

How do you think this private one on one conversation came to become reported in the book John? Obviously, because Nick must became a Christian sometime just after the resurection and recounted the event to John.

Thus Jesus was talking to Nick about what was soon comming in his life and indeed our lives. And if that is not enough for you, just read the book of Acts and you will see 2 baptisms taking place again and again, just after repentance. Those being new converts getting baptized in Jesus' name = WATER and then in the baptism of the SPIRIT when they spoke in Tongues.... As Still happens today with EVERYONE who obey's Acts 2:38...

Why are you fighting something so simple to do, that will bring you so many blessings and truth.

** "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38

No one today is born under the Ot so acts 2:38 is not something that meant to be done for all time.

WOW, I believed you where walking in error, now We all KNOW YOU ARE...

Try reading Acts 2:39

Hey kids, Crack kills... Cheesygrin
You guys really are shouting!
"Not Acts 2:38! anything But Acts 2:38!"

When “entire households” were baptized, where is an age distinction made?  Scripture links baptism and circumcision and Jews were circumcised on the 8th day.  The early church even discussed if baptism should be done on the 8th day.

....
to end for Now show me in scripture where a baby was ever baptism under The believers baptism?

You just self refuted. An infant is anywhere from before conception to even one-and-a-half years in age.

In light of Acts 15 how can you say that God replaced one form of legalism (righteousness resulting from our works), even GOOD WORKS, with another?

That is the "bone of contention."

Nope, It ia simply Biblical adherance to TRUTH preached By Peter as he was laying out the Keys to heaven.

Oh, and calling something the apostils preached and did, again and again, in SCRIPTURE, "legalism" is yet another fine example of you shouting, "Not Acts 2:38! anything But Acts 2:38!"

Thank you, for yet another fine example, backing up my point.

steadfast you need to keep in context what water is in john 3:5

water is used to symbol the spirit that is to put In us

Ezekiel 36:25-27 (King James Version)

25Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

The scripture says The water  which is The saving water comes from within the person.
