I happen to be a member of a Peace Church. I wish that there had been another way to settle this persistent aggression from Hamas. Also, our denomination happens to have a 150 year old school in the West Bank.
O.K., so my question is than, what is a Peace Church putting in the media? If you have a denomination in the West Bank? I mean this denomination although in Fatah-Controlled area must know how some Christian Palestinians are affraid of Hamas (and sometimes Fatah).
Does the Peace Church write in regular media, about what happened to Christian bookshops and schools in Gaza? Or why Hamas, kicked about 200 married Russian woman out of Gaza, leaving their now Muslim Children behind... Etc.? a lot can be done I think.

Partly I also don't care if the U.N. will fall apart etc. BUT: If there is no U.N. etc. anymore, I think Israel is for worce off.
Now still it might be easy to think that America will create world-democracy. But they will not have the power for it without U.N. etc. nor Europe will. So than the main block might be the Arab world, Russia, and China afterwards. But anyway we will get another world.
Beside that, America created so much hatred in so many different countries with U.S.A.-militant actions, that if the U.N. is fallen, there might be a cultural attack and even more ''trading'' wars against the U.S.A. Than Israel might also loose one of it's biggest sponsors. But than Israel is free to trade with India and China, so there might be for Israel also good outcomes.

America, nor the UN, is in charge, God is. And only God will bring about world peace...when our Messiah returns. Democracy is not world peace, it's JUST a system of goverment.
Israel *is* God's Beloved...He will bless us as long as we bless them, and curse us when we don't.
It really is as simple as that.
But regardless of where one stands on theology, nations have an obligation to protect/defend their citizens, without waiting for permission from some "global tribunal of opinion" that has it's own political/economic/social agenda, while being attacked.

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
We all need to pray for one another, and to love one
another. We should always pray for the safety, peace,
love and brotherhood for people all over the world.
Too bad we can't have an independence day for the
entire world. A day of freedom from ignorance, hatred,
war, illusions, power and control. A day where we can
all love each other as human beings and toss away the
weapons of war, and cast out our fears and hatreds
from our hearts into the graves. We must mourn the
graves of the innocents all over the world, and give
the children of the world the hope of a peaceful,
loving and beautiful world.
A world full of love and without hatred or fear.
A world where we can join hands together and accept one
another, regardless of our skin color, ethnic
divisions, religion or nationality. If we don't unite
as a human race, then we have condemned the future
generation of children a dark and very grim future.

MY PRAYER FOR PEACE AND HARMONY
Merciful God, You made all of the people of the world
in Your own image and placed before us the pathway of
salvation through different Preachers who claimed to
have been Your Saints and Prophets. But, the
contradictions (made by us) in the interpretation of
Your teachings have resulted in creating divisions,
faith based hatreds and bloodshed in the world
community. Millions of innocent men, women and
children have so far been brutally killed by the
militants of several religions who have been
committing horrifying crimes against humanity and
millions more would not be butchered by them in the
future, if You guide and help us find ways to reunite
peacefully.
IN THE NAME OF GOD, THE COMPASSIONATE, THE MERCIFUL,
look with compassion on the whole human family; take
away the controversial teachings of arrogance,
divisions and hatreds which have badly infected our
hearts; break down the walls that separate us; reunite
us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and
confusion to accomplish Your purposes on earth; that,
in Your good time, all nations and races could jointly

How blind man did become ,they believe in war,
They love Messiah they say , and agree the killing and the fighting
But in they end only death it self is the victory of Satan the ruler of this world.
Those who live through Yeshua Messiah will live by the spirit ,walk in the spirit as One in love.
We do not belong to this world.
There is no Jew ,no Greek ,no man ore woman but one spirit immersed us all.
So what is Christ body ?

1Cor15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.
Why do so many still walk in the flesh,think in the flesh ?
Did we learn from Yeshua Messiah to fight ,to kill ,to belong to this world ?
As if we belong to Satan who is the prince of this world still ?
Yeshua says "if my kingdom was of this world my followers would fight for me , 1 John18:36
But Yeshua answered, “My Kingdom is not of this world.
If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn’t be delivered to the Judeans.
But now my Kingdom is not from here.”
Are we Children of the light, is our light killing?
12:31 Now is the judgment of this world. 4 possible stances on this:
1) Actively trying to kill Hamas by what you do or say. Example, IDF and Mayor Bloomberg, Jay Seculow, Michael Medved etc..
2) Neutral and passive to allow IDF to kill Hamas. Example, Me, President Bush, but there is some waffleing for a ceasefire.
3) Neutral and pushing for a cease fire (in which Israel would get a bad deal from the UN with no garunett the rockets stop) I think Israel should have a no cease fire policy. The only way there is a cease fire is if Hamas ceases fireing cause they are all dead or disarmed. Exaple, Sarcosi, UN,
4) Actively trying to kill IDF forces by what you do or say. Examples, Hamas.
When we invaded Iraq they didn't have all these gruesome pictures on the internet of mangled children.

Your prayer is beautiful, and so well stated. It will come to pass, but not for a little over one thousand years from now. Your prayer addresses what we will have, as you stated later in your post, total and complete Love and Peace, only after ALL evil is removed from our midst (the eighth-eternal day).
Like you, and everyone on earth, none of us will live in our mortality, unto the eighth day, but being of 'Faith,' we will be with Messiah, through the Millennium, final conflict, and Great White Throne Judgment, with Messiah. Oh, we will have His Shalom, but those of mortality still has a ways to go.
Until Messiah returns, and takes authority over the world, we have two choices, to defend our families, and faith, or to stand-up and be slaughtered until our enemy drops from exhaustion. The fighting in Gaza, right now, teaches that a person (mortal) can only hold back just so long, while others are trying to kill one's family and friends, before taking the hated action of reprisal. May Israel be successful, as Messiah wills success, to His Glory.
If we were capable of accomplishing your 'peace,' the Prophetic word would be much much shorter, with fewer authors.
