To one and all, Pray that God's will is done, and that He protect Israeli troops.

Let us also pray that the Israeli leadership makes all the right decisions needed for success.

In Messiah, His Shalom, and protection.  Arley
However, with all this said, we (Americans) still support terrorists by buying billions of $$ of oil from them. So, we really are supporting both sides. (Although I really DO think that GW Bush feels a moral obligation to Israel/Iraq democracies, not just an economic one.)

Our lefties are to blame for our duplicity too: no nuclear facilities allowed to be built, and no home-drilling for oil, meanwhile China is just barely outside our waters drilling...

Also, no one hardly mentions Saudi Arabia, our "ally" who also happens to be The Seat of Wahabbism...it's always Iran and Syria (those "bad guys", and they are), but never SA....who also is in the process of establishing a "good reputation" by funding American  Universities like Harvard, etc...where our political elite come from...while also rearing militant children and supporting terrorists who desire to destroy us, too...WAKE UP AMERICA!

In another thread it was said that Arab former Muslims now Christians are in danger of death by their own families...but even the leaders of Arab nations who dare negotiate peace with Israel are murdered: ie; Sadat (harldy an Israeli "sympathizer"). Is it any wonder that the Presidents of Pakistan and Iraq aren't so "pro-American occupation" as to offend their neighbors/brothers?

Oh, boy, there's plenty of blame to go around...but it seems Israel is the least to blame, it's just hated/endangered for being.

Everyone has an opinion. Here's an article by Thomas Sowell:
Pretty Talk Is Not An Answer To Ugly Reality

I agree with much of it.

You said: "G-d will judge between them, and He will defend those who are blameless. Nevertheless, Israel should get rid of its nuclear weapons. Not even G-d would destroy an entire city if there were eight just persons living in it. "

Of course, 'Israel should get rid of its nuclear weapons.'  OK, once we have accomplished removing their best deterrent, perhaps we could then demand that they defend themselves without 'weapons of war,' so that they could be wiped out of existence, having honored the demands of the enemy.

God will not allow Israel to be wiped out of existence.  He will crush anyone trying to 'wipe them out,' and will crush anyone who didn't come to Israel's defense.  Thus:  Israel survives, enemy and bystanders -- G O N E !

Navyblue shalom.

I do not deny one's right to defend oneself; nevertheless, I never advocate violence, especially the use of weapons of mass destruction. To look at it another way, consider the #1 enemy of the United States -Bin Laden:

For seven years the intelligence resources of the U.S. have been dedicated to finding this man, without any luck. Why can't they find him? Here's why: As I said, G-d will judge between them. Bin Laden is a terrorist -he targets civilians; George Bush is also a kind of terrorist; he has refused to ban numerous weapons that are particularly hazardous to civilians, including nuclear weapons. When Obama signs the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty after he takes office, I'll bet you that they'll capture Bin Laden within a week of the signing.

RE:
I totally disagree. Bin Laden is merely a scapegoat the past american government has used to it's convenience. It's obvious it was not yet on the American interest to catch Bin Laden, otherwise how would they justify their presence in the middle east.

How can you explain that a powerful man like Saddam Hussein with a army to defend himself was already capture and found is fate while little sheppard Bin laden is still on the loose? Wouldn't you think all the satelite technology would've allowed the U.S. to locate Bin Laden and neutralize him?

I always wondered if Binladin is actually a CIA agent.

Hi Promigit.

Did you know the only country in Europe where not one single Jew was turned over to the Nazis was Albani ruled by Besa Muslims?

It is true, all the Jews who went to Albania or who were from there lived.

There is a new book about it.

A unilateral nuclear ban would do only one thing: place us, and our allies, at risk of being under the thumb of despots like Kim IlJung, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

There's no such thing as "strength through weakness".

But here's an interesting article related to that topic:
Fighting Nukes With Bibi
Quote:
In two weeks, Israel will pick a new government. Likud Party leader and former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appears to have a comfortable lead. His main rival, Tzipi Livni, the ruling Kadima party's foreign minister, has been sounding an alarm that hard-liner Bibi won't get along with President Obama.

Netanyahu: No illusions in 1996, and none apparently in 2008.
That actually might not be such a bad thing. As Tehran's Islamofascist regime continues on its path toward becoming a nuclear-armed power, a strong dose of tough realism in the Middle East may be just what the doctor ordered — if not in the U.S., then in Israel.

> snip

"It's 1938, and Iran is Germany . . . racing to arm itself with atomic bombs," Netanyahu told the United Jewish Communities General Assembly in 2006. Those words of warning came in the aftermath of the Holocaust-denying Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad repeatedly calling on Israel to be wiped off the map.

Netanyahu has contended that Ahmadinejad has been "preparing another Holocaust for the Jewish state" and that stopping him "is what we must do. Everything else pales before this."

EXACTLY!!

PUH-LEEZ.

We haven't found him because he is a coward who hides in remote hills/caves like a rabbit while he sends his followers to their death. We found Saddam in his coward hiding place/rabbit hole...we will eventually find Bin Laden too...it's only a matter of time.

But I found this encouraging:
Greatest Hits (Vol. II)

But before Osama gets too comfortable in his cave, he should ponder the remarks by President Obama on Oct.7: "We will kill bin Laden. We will crush al-Qaida. That has to be our biggest national security priority." Apparently it still is.

Osama bin Laden has been marginalized, but he's still a target and so is everyone who works for him. Actions speak louder than words, and on Friday, on Obama's watch, five more al-Qaida operatives were sent to jihadist heaven by Predator drone strikes in Pakistan just east of the Afghan border.

Oh really? Only four people escaped Sodom and 'Amorah.

What answer do I give to someone who is appalled at the Israeli bombing of the Gaza strip?

The latest I've read from Gaza missionaries via. Chosen People,
is an average of 8 short range rockets are fired per day at Sderot
and Askelon, and the houses of innocent civilians are used as base camps for the Hamas terrorists, as well as the civilian occupants of these houses, one specific -doctors family and his 2 daughters used as human shields. Young boys as young as age 10 are asked to pick abandoned rifles and mortars from the wounded or dead Hamas troops,
and to return them to the terrorist faction.

You can hear bits of this on BBC npr late night also from select informed
Israeli Defense Ministries, not usually on Network tv.

Israeli bombing of the Gaza strip.,That is really miserable I really hope this will not happen again.,To many people is been sacrificed.,

WeldKaye, Shalom, and welcome.

I fear I am reading your words correctly, in that you are putting Israel down for bombing targets in Gaza?  In that premise, I must say:  HUH??
I also must ask:  How many rockets shot at your family would you tolerate before you 'Returned Fire?"

Consider, please,  Living in fear, 24/7, day after day, year after year, tends to make the 'nicest' of people a bit hostile, especially when the carnage is on the street where you live.  'Never Again,'  should ring a bell.

The statement, in an earlier post, asks where is Osama Ben Laden?  Why haven't we captured him?  He is our number One enemy!  NOPE, Radical Islam is our Number One enemy, of which OBL is but one of the more notorious.  We are, IMO, entering into, if not already enduring the Tribulation period.  War and killing will only get worse, until Messiah, Yashuah, brings this Era to a screeching halt, with a word from His mouth.

In Messiah, welcome (again), and His Blessing.  Arley
