I would like to say how much I have learned fom and been blessed by the  many posters here on JFJ - Christians and non-Christians alike.

However, in 4 days time, on 6th January 2009, I am being admitted into The University Hospital, Birmingham, England, to undergo open heart surgery. I will be in Critical Care Department immediately after the operation for some days before being transfered to a ward where I will stay until I am recovered enough to go into convalescence during which time I will not have PC online access.

God Willing, I will be back on JFJ in the fulness of His time and purpose -although I know not when.

Kind Regards
David

May God give the Surgeon His blessing, and the skill, needed to bring you through your experience, and rehabilitation, completely, quickly, coupled with minimal pain and discomfort.

We will see you on the other side, be it surgery, or graduation.  I prefer the surgery, as graduation is through faith, only.

Remember, the Doctors, and nurses are, or at least used to be (ha), people too, and a person of faith evangelizes by their demeanor, more than by their words.

In Messiah, His Shalom, and fortitude. Arley
I will pray for you.
Wow, David.  I'm sorry to hear of your health concerns.  You'll be in my prayers.  Our daughter underwent intensive brain surgery at age 2 from brain cancer...she's 8 now.  God is good and I thank Him that He is still the God that heals!!  Blessings to you and your family!  Let us know how things go once you get back on your feet....or at least back to your PC!
My prayers for you to the Great Physician, to be guiding the hands of your temporal doctors. And for speedy recovery. Let your light shine, my brother! In all things, His will be done. And if He chooses to take you Home...see ya when I get there!

Abundant peace I pray for you.

Amen.

May G-d bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand always. I will pray also for a speedy recovery. Blessings....

A huge thank you for your kind posts. May God bless and keep each one of you.

This will be my last post until I return home; I leave for hospital in two hours time having recieved that wonderful gift of peace.

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid."

(John 14:27 New Living Translation)

David
I again have to say goodbye as I have to return to Hospital for heart surgery and will not be online for some considerable time.
