Yousef, 30, said he realized the true nature of Hamas and radical Islam during a stint in an Israeli prison. He renounced his Muslim faith, left his family behind in Ramallah and converted to Christianity.

"Islam is not the word of God," said Yousef. "If you want to be offended it's your problem. But you know something? Go study. Think for a second that I might be right. So wake up, look at your path, see where you're going. Are you really going to heaven with 72 virgins after you kill yourself and kill another 20 people?"

Yousef has sought asylum in the United States and now attends an evangelical Christian church in San Diego, Calif.

     My Wedding   1-10-82
Making a decision for Messiah, and becoming part of His family, and consequently placing self on the list of people to kill by your old faith, is F A I T H !  a faith that most Christians have never had to feel, to be accepted by God.  I envy, and honor, Yosef's choice, and welcome him into the family that I belong to, the family of God.

Sheitl, please forgive my weird humor, but, in the photo of your wedding, above, are you on the left, or the right?   Heh heh heh.  Sorry, I just had to ask the stupid question of the day.  I hope you chuckled with me.  And now, I will get back to serious.

In Messiah, His Shalom, and humor.  Arley

That was too funny! I totally didn't get it at first.

About Yousef: he's not the only Palestinian terrorist to come to Christ and denigrate Islam. I'm curious, though about Yousef. Shoebat and others now express love and support for the Jews. Has Yousef? I watched the Fox special and didn't hear that. Something felt wrong about him, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Anybody else feel that way?

I knew someone would ask that, LOL.

I don't believe in putting photos of myself on forums,
so I figured I would put up one of the officiating
rabbis instead.

I haven't seen or heard about him before now, so give him a little time to grow. Prejudices are hard things to overcome, but with the love of Y'shua in his heart, it will happen.

Yousef recently converted and is still applying for asylum and a job with the FBI. Give Yousef a break.
OK, I'll bite.  Is that photo of two Rabbi's working in stereo, or one Rabbi, with an ego problem, or just practicing in front of a mirror?   ha

Rev. Shalom.  Yousef attends an Evangelical Free Church, in San Diego, I believe.  E-Free congregations are devoted to Word of God study, so I presume Yousef must, if not love Israel, does, as a minimum, respect Judaism as the foundation of his new Christianity.

I understand that thousands upon thousands are accepting Messiah, world wide, but especially from Islam.  Islam is going to have to hurry and start the Tribulation period soon, or they won't have enough bad guys to pick a fight.  Hmmmmm,  now there is a thought.  Ha.

The vids were too short to get a real feel of anything like that, IMO.

Did you mean you watched the vid clips? Because I thought the special was airing this Sat night, 1/10:
Quote:
Escape from Hamas airs Saturday at 9 p.m., with repeats at 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. EST, and Sunday at 9 p.m., with repeats at 12 midnight, 2 a.m., EST.

I'll have to reserve my thoughts till I see the whole thing...IF I remember! LOL

Escape from Hamas has already aired. Or was the Bill Hemmer thing not the real deal?

I'll agree that some prejudices die hard. His love for Israel will come, if he's a Christian.

Perhaps I'm being too critical as always. We'll see.
He found Yeshua in an Israeli prison?! Now THAT'S a testimony. Father we give you praise and ask You to use this young man mightily.
