I don't know about you but I am a football not baseball person.
I was thinking they could make baseball more exciteing by makeing the infield rotate somehow.
I will give you an example of how I can't stand boreing things. During commericals for football, that are way to long and too many I do pushups.
I don't know about you but I am a football not baseball person.
I am not a big sports fan, but I can sit down and watch football
and enjoy it.
Baseball-and basketball- bore me to tears.
Baseball is too slow moving, basket ball is just watching
a bunch of guys running up and down a court, and listening
to their shoes squeak.
Neither of those is too exciting to watch. Football has action,
and fast action.
Maybe if they allowed tackeling in baseball, instead of tagging
out with the glove, or throwing the ball, it would liven it up.
Or maybe they could put booby traps between the bases that the
runner would have to dodge- maybe a little quick sand or
a moat with alligators.
During commericals for football, that are way to long and too many I do pushups.
Now that's what I call an armchair athlete!

Baseball happens to be my favorite sport. We have a triple-A team here and I went to almost every game last year. Even made a few trips to watch a few single-A games in nearby cities.
Football is played in cold, freezing weather. Baseball is played during the summer when I can go to games in shorts and a t-shirt. I also like the fact that in baseball is not timed, I could sit at the ball park forever watching a game and would be loving every minute of it.
Baseball also happens to be the only sport mentioned in the Bible. Genesis 1:1 "In the Big Inning..."
Dubya-
Maybe you are right, my problem is I am in Jersey way down so I can't just walk to Yankee Stadium. I bet you if I could have when I was a kid I would have liked Baseball. The point is I didn't grow up with a taste for it live so with the commericals so late at night it just drives me insane after a few minutes.
How can they make baseball more exciteing?
They can't...*y-a-w-n*...nuf said.
Same goes for baseball's cousin: golf.
*LOL*
Am I the only baseball fan of all the people on this bulletin board?
Am I the only one who loves to hear the crack of the bat? Watching a hit and run, an attempted stolen base, a double play?
Three men on with two outs and down by a few runs in the bottom of the ninth inning... The batter approaches the plate as the pitcher digs at the rubber... The PA system blares out Carly Simon's "Anticipation"... It just doesn't get any better than that!
