"Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" And Paul and Silas give the simple answer, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved" (Acts 16:31-32).

again you ignore Acts 16:33 where oops there it is again

they were BAPTIZED he and ALL his....

As to your point on Paul he was talking about hero worship..."I was baptised of Apolllos and I of someone else....he didn't baptise many personally but he did baptize some but others baptised those in the church....they were all baptised whether by Paul or someone else.

Even John's disciples were re-bapised.

Oh, so Jesus gave the theif on the cross grace before he died, went through terrible agony and pain for us (to be our Savior), but can't give his grace now? Make ALOT of sense.... some people will always make a work of man added to faith....

Holy Ghost wasn't poured out yet and the command to be baptised wasn't given and anyway Jesus didn't give him grace...grace isn't mentioned anywhere....he promised him paradise and as God that was His perogative and who are we to question God?

prophet do you believe they were saved as soon as they believe as others who had the Hg fall on them before baptism?

If you are referring to Cornelius it was to show that God was no respector of persons and they were all baptised.

Jesus said it
Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned

Going by that scripture you can believe all you want but you better be baptised or your lost.
If you  believe that Jesus is God Himself and don't get baptized in His Name then your lost.

prophet One question.

I'm asking in acts 16 where they are told to believe and they shall be saved were they saved right  on the point they believe or did they have to wait later on that same hour to complete thier salvation.

as for mark 16:16 note it Not believeing that condemns the person nothing in this verse that says if you are not baptism you are condemn.

if you keep The first part in context if One really truly believe they are saved and they are filled with God spiirt with the desire for baptism.

1. jesus makes it clear in mark 16;16 if one really believe then they shall also be baptism not that this baptism is saving them for it there belief that saved them because in mark 16 it only no-belief that condemns.

true belief/repentance results in doing the desires of the Lord

IF you believe that Jesus is who He says He is then you will do what is commanded....1 repent   2 be baptised in His Name  3 recieve the infilling of the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.

whether you recieve the Holy GHost before baptism or not you have to be baptised or you are lost and that is what Mark 16:16 is stating becaused if you believe as I said then you will be baptised...no baptism no salvation.

1. where in mark 16 it says if you are not baptism your lost i can only find If you do not believe your lost.

2. Where in scripture does it say You Have to speak in tongues to be saved?

i think we had this debate last time with your main reason for believeing this because it record in a few places, but I had my self gave out scripture where people who were filled with the spirit but no tongues mention.

just to tell you just because tongues is recorded in a few places Does not prove it a must to be saved. if you have this attitude i can say well in a few places tongues is  not record so we do not need it to be saved.

ProphetSadJesus said)
Jhn 3:5   Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

2. Where in scripture does it say You Have to speak in tongues to be saved?

Prophet response:

Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance

Act 2:11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Act 19:6 And when Paul had laid [his] hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied

Speaking in tongues is the evidence of infilling of Holy Ghost otherwise
anyone can say they have it....and will work until judgement and find that what I am saying is right...but you can ignore me...but your blood will be on you own head if  you do.

acts 2:4 but where does it say you must speak in tongues to be saved? again prophet i can offer verses where it mentions people being filled with the holy spirit praising God given prophecy but no tongues mention.

1. all those verse  simple have tongues being mention when those people believe, Because something is mention does not prove a case. You give a absolute claim you have to speak in tongues and i want a absolute verse.

Also tongues is a gift of the holy spirit and if one can speak that is a evidence of it but so is each other gift.

But gifts are not require evidence one needs to be saved. Its The fruit of the spirit.

as for john 3:5

http://www.biblestudymanuals.net/jn3v18.htm#V

you should learn that Jesus was using water according to Old testament terms.
The Old testament haves the spirit being refer as to water not literal water.
