I thought it is a discussion forum...
So WHY do you find it a good artical???
Some things I like and some I don't. Besides that, There should also be written why the ''Romans and Greeks Rejected Jesus as the Messiah''.
Here again it's written as if the Jews did choose to kill him...
Besides that Tenach in those days was still learned more than nowadays. Also after the age of 5 etc.
Well tell me what you think, is good about it please?

I think we can agree that ALL people, most especially Jews since God chose you and you are the apple of His eye, to read what He said for yourself. Comparing scripture to scripture. And taking commentary for what it is, just that, comments.
No one is innocent as far as the crucifixion goes. The Jews handed Him over, the Romans (gentiles) did the deed, but ultimately *my* sin and His love for *me* put Him on that cross. In fact, it didn't "put" Him there, He put Himself there. I own it. We all should instead of pointing fingers. It was the (only) plan of reconciliation between man and God all along.

I thought it was good because I hadn't seen an article from this sort of angle before. It was a Jewish guy who wrote this article so he would not make out as if the Jews killed Jesus. Jesus said, "Nobody takes my life....I lay it down myself"

Why should there be fingers pointed at all?
If Christians believe Jesus came to die for their sins,
then wasn't he supposed to die?
And whoever was responsible, was only doing G-d's will?

He would not needed to die if there was no sin but mankind is at fault for bring sin into this world.

There shouldn't be any fingers pointed, as I said...but I am sure you are aware of 1800 years of Roman Catholic and Protestant charges toward Jews "who murdered our LORD"...it's just a bunch of poppycock.
"doing God's will"-- ultimately His will will be done...but look at Joseph and his brothers. Did they sin when leaving him for dead? I would say so, they weren't submitted to, or even seeking God's will. They were jealous and acted out of jealousy. But God had another plan...
Same with the ones who were participants of the actual crucifixion. They weren't seeking God's will. They acted out of malice. But God's plan was carried out in the process.
It's all about our ATTITUDE/HEART. He *is* going to carry out His plans with or without our compliance...but if we are defiant, we are not honoring His sovereignty over us...and He will treat us in kind. "I'm not your King? So be it, live outside my Kingdom."

Shietl,
Hi,
How does you logic fit with the exodus? Could you equivocate?

The Egyptians were punished because of the severity of the servitude they placed the Israelites under. When God told Abraham that his descendants would serve another nation, it wasn't that they would be slaves in the way the Israelites were in Egypt.

So then, they willingly served as Christ then?
