[size=medium][font=Impact] It seems some people think accepting Christ is to be able to do waht ever you want , and grace will save you. Others think if they sin, they lose their Salvation. Some Jewish beliefs are that ; They are the chosen, so no matter what ,they are under the promise of G-d's grace, and don't worry about their actions. Where is Grace , and what are the limitations and boundaries  of Grace? There are as many opinions about this subject as there are posts on this website! Yeshua is my Grace; for the record!

Those who accept Christ, and become adopted children of God, through Jesus, the Messiah, and do not change their sinful ways, and think themselves 'saved' any-way, shall find themselves suffering great 'loss,' at Judgment.

Consider:
1Co 3:13  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
1Co 3:14  If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
1Co 3:15  If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
1Co 3:16 [color=purple] Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1Co 3:17  If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.  (color code mine //as//)

How much the gain, or loss, I do not know, as Jesus will dispense with Justice.  I have the 'hope,' that I have good reward.  Yeee-Haaaa! (that is my password, for my reward savings account)

It seems a stumbling block for everyone growing in Yeshua, as many feel ;To not sin , is like saying ; I am going to give you a trillion dollars[ Maybe 2 in this economy] if you stand on a tightrope over Niagra Falls for 20 years, and not fall in!.Many Christians and I'm sure [ Judaism] feel like that and wind up not trying at all, or just giving up because of all the laws! We sin each day; knowingly, and unknowingly, in thought's, feelings, and oftentimes actions. I seem to  always be saying the wrong thing ,thinking I am saying the right thing! I can speak grand word's on these posts but fall short with anyone in my family listening to a word I say!It seems when I try to change; I fail, but when I give them up to Jesus;I change? I think many times we alone try to change our thoughts and feelings trying to meet up with ;Be perfect, sin not. Yeshua did say that;This is my point. Another translation problem! In the original; that meant for example; If I was building a house, or painting the walls, and cleaning the dust to move in that house ; It is a process of striving towards the completion of that house, so it will be ready to move in.We must do our part to help build the house, but the plans and completion will be Yeshua's. There are so many times I tryed to change my ways and failed; knowing the right way , but being incapable of doing so. We do have an advocate for our sins. I am not telling anyone to go out and sin, but He forgives us a lot easier than we forgive ourselfs!,and if we fall; Fall on Jesus, and live!and wait for Him to renew our strength,for as long as we are on earth,in these bodies, the work is not finished!and if we fall; He will carry us! We all fall short of the Glory of G-d!I have been told I have a gift of healing, and I always said; G-d hears my prayers because He knows, I know, how rotten I really am!There is nothing of myself worthy , but the worthiness of Yeshua in me!Even if I walked a perfect walk , I would  still be under the curse of sin!;without Yeshua!

Boy can I identify with this!!!  But through continued prayer the Lord has been FAITHFUL!!!

He revealed to me first of all that if I coninued to surrender my life and will to the Holy Spirit sometimes minute by minutethat he would then show me the next step in how to overcome these sins.


That is for you and your personal prayer time with Him.  If you don't hear His vice then I can tell you only what I have done.  I sat and invied the Holy Spirit to speak to my heart.  I first gave it about 5 minutes each day as not to overdo.  and then when ready i increased it to more time until I heard.  I thne tested the spirit by asking Who was Jesus.  If the spirit could not say that Jesus came in the flesh and was the only Son of the the Living God I dismissed it!!!

You are quite right, many times we get ahead of the Holy Spirit and don't be quiet enough for Him to speak. I am still learning to ; Be still and know that He is G-d! Shalom

I suppose the answer to that one is just make sure He's driving before you close your eyes and take your hand's off the wheel?
