Before I figured out I don't absorb fructose and damages my liver and gets toxic in my stomach I fliped open my bible and looked straight at the verse for some reason.

I have had stomach trouble all my life off and on. Even when I was a baby I had what they thought was a mold allergy, penecillain?

Anyway I got better 20 years ago thinking it was wheat allergy and it worked cause I made food from scratch and had fasted and my liver was cleaned up.

My wife even exclaimed my hair was healthy again after only a few weeks of fasting.  It had looked dead before that.

But I started eating bread again cause the doctors said I came up negative for wheat gluten allergy.

But here is what it was.  Whole wheat bread has fructans, a polymer of fructose and started nailing me more and more as I got sicker and sicker.

I should have went to the hospital last week but didn't.

Thank God I figured out what it was on the internet.

Some of the things doctors have given me would have made it worse if I had listened to them.

I had to find out what was irritateing my stomach and not just mask the symptoms.

I prayed for God to let me eat food in despiration and He has answered it according to psalm 22:26.

Pray for me cause I felt dizzy and have tar colored motions.

Maybe I can be part of a special study in a hospital that is researching this thing I am very sure I have.
Unfortunate for us that the health system is set up that a large amount of medicine is so legislated by doctors that its impossible to get them without their help and so doctors are really important. I know how you feel, I dont much like doctors, but what can you do?
I think we pray and ask God for help and help ourselves as much as possible.
We just had a nutritionist come to our church and talk to us and she was very informative and suggested many great natural rememdies. Most are too expensive for me so I am looking into other ways, barley...yuck....best to take that in table form, probiotics, fiber is wonderful, but drinking lots of water is the key to so much in life. Keep researching your symptoms and check with a natural food store near you and by all means ask a nutritionist about sugars etc. Keep a journal of everything you eat and see if you can find some patterns, that was one thing the nutritionist said and it does make sense if you are symptomatic. I heard of something called Stevia, its a liquid drop that you use instead of sugar, dont give up, and dont negate doctors. I just wouldnt go to any in California....or Mass...thats just my own idea.
God bless you.Pray for wisdom and guidance and then trust God. Good health is important, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and therefore we are required to take good care of them.
I will put you on my prayer list. God bless you.
To Hope7-I am not totally down on the system.  The last doctor I saw for stomach trouble suggested irritable bowel.  So recently I followed his suggesting to the right thing...fructose intolerance.

The gluten free diet in the VA hospital 3 months helped me even though we still didn't figure out it was actually the fructans.  I acted up when my wife brougth me 2 choclate bars (the sugar is half fructose).

Today I dealt with anemia.  It crept up on me.  Years ago I noticed blotches on my nails and ridges and knew it ws some kind of minderal problem.  Recently (3yrs) My nails were spooning and I think white (I need to compare them to someone elses) a sign of anemia.  Plus I am a distance runner.  I was cold all the time more and more, all symptoms of anemia, plus some itching that got worse and worse and worse an early sign of kidney problem.

Even if I had a doctor it is still good to take ownership of your problem and research it.

I wonder how many doctors know spooning nails are a sign of anemia?

Thanks for suggesting stevia but it has fructose.
My punishment for haveing been a vegetarian pureist is I have to eat dextrose candy and red meat to get better.

I ran around the block and ate as many smarties as tasted good (dextrose candy that supposedly combines with the fructose to get it out of your system).

I think it worked cause I feel better.

Somebody could make alot of money with a fructose free store or line of food like all the gluten free stuff.
I didn't eat chia seeds with my daily oat meal yesterday morning and amazingly my stomach trouble stopped last night.

I saw on the internet that if you eat mostly grains like I do phytates can block your iron, and calcium.  It sounds just like me.

I have been up and down to the bathroom non stop every few hours for two months, and in tail bone pain for a year since eating the chia seeds.

Stupid me.  Maybe I  found what was irritateing my stomach.

My dad thinks I am stupind for useing strange health foods.
