Text book bias:
Jesus was a Palestinian? That's what one public school textbook says.
Although Jesus lived in a region known in his time as Palestine, the use of the term "Palestinian," with its modern connotations, is among the hundreds of textbook flaws cited in a recent five-year study of educational anti-Semitism detailed in the book "The Trouble with Textbooks: Distorting History and Religion."
Authors Gary Tobin and Dennis Ybarra of the Institute for Jewish and Community Research found some 500 imperfections and distortions concerning religion in 28 of the most widely used social studies and history textbooks in the United States.
Ybarra, a research associate at the institute, called the above example "shocking."
A "true or false" question on the origins of Christianity asserted that "Christianity was started by a young Palestinian named Jesus." The teacher's edition says this is "true."
But even though Jesus is the founder of Christianity, the question ignores the fact that he was Jewish. And Ybarra said, "The Christian scriptures say that he preached in Judea and Galilee, not Palestine," a term that was used at the time as a less specific description of the broader region between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River.

I heard about this on the news also. It seems The Government again interferring into the church. Obama just passed a law to allow foot bath's for Muslims to be built in all schools, even though Christians and Jews are discouraged from praying in schools , from the separation of church and state amendments .It seems ; the squeaky wheel gets the grease,especially when the Muslims have the petroleum! and in this case; foot baths, and school textbooks!It seems though a minority as well, many Homosexuals, and obscure deranged liberals groom themselves into key positions of influence and government positions just for this reason; to pollute the minds of the people into believing untruth to be truth!

(He who strives for G-D's blessing.)
The Children of G-D were 1st called "Christian" at Antioch.

I apologize to Claudeya, and to anyone offended. I have short term memory loss and get peoples names confused! My cross to bear! Perhaps I should look to the heart of G-d, and Yeshua to find Christian?, instead of sarcastic remarks of my own imagination. So to the point;I see many non believers have taken the name ;Christian and twisted it to mean Paul was the founder of Salvation?, instead of the founder of the word; Christian! I guess this is where my sarcasim came from thinking it was another slam; not reading the whole thread.If you read the post only it does sound funny by itself!but! G-d has a way of getting attention from my mistakes!, and making a point from my errors!In another post I have been defending the word; Christian on the same issue!It seems the word ; Christian, has been associated with many mis doings of men , and have made the name become a word of anti G-d to Judaic believers.Jesus said ; There will many come in my name , false Christs, and false prophets, showing great signs and wonders; that if it were possible, they shall decieve the very elect![Matthew 24:24]continued
[continued]I believe Matthew 24: 24 , pertained not only to the Anti- Christ, but also to the false witnesses of Christ today!.Many have come to Israel; saying they are Christians, and then forced Israel into giving up Her land,created wars, and persecuted the Judaic people in the name of Christianity!,and the true meaning of the word has become hidden, and obscured to G-d's people! Men have twisted the name[ Christian] to be an instrument of hate and oppression; Hitler, Jim Jones, David Koresh,The Roman Catholics;[ before Martin Luther],the U.S.A[ Land for Peace]., and thousands more! History has a whole drawer full of interpretations of what a Christian is!, but what does the word Christian mean? Robert, I accept your apology!!! This is what the Lord has shared with me. There are a few on this forum that He wants to bring together for HIS PURPOSE. We all carry puzzle parts so to speak of HIS MESSAGE. Satan wants to stop this from happening. The time is at hand Robert. [I am not perfect, just forgiven,or I suppose I wouldn't need Jesus] as I thank you for your acceptance of my apology.As you said we must pray deeper into the Holy Spirit to lead us with every word, and be not anxious in recieving the answer, or stating the question!
