But if the enemy inclines towards peace, you also must incline towards peace, and trust in Allah: for He is One that Hears and Knows all things. (8:61)
Permission to fight is given to those who are being attacked, because they have been wronged. And surely Allah measures out help for them. (22:39)
Do Muslims believe this at all?
If so, when did US attack Ben Laden's home country?
First of all the idea Home-Country is western... For most Muslims see every muslim nation as there home-country as long it is muslim (or from the same group).
And Yes the U.S.A. more often attacked Irak, Iran, Indonesia, etc. etc. etc.
When there where no weapons off mass destruction... (not the reason) Irak needed to be attacked, for they where a threat to the Petro-Dollar, for Iran and Irak wanted to do the stock-exchange of Oil into Euro's. That's why U.S.A.-Holland-U.K. took the French and German oil fields in 2003.
And than saying that the U.S.A. is not causing wars, only trading wars? (where allready only in the 2nd Golf war about 100.000 people are killed)
Yes Iraki's very often asked the U.S.A. to leave the country in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009. For the war on non-democratic countries, is an undemocratic holy war.
I think Messianic Judaism also should start to understand what peace realy can be, if Messianics become more aware what is realy happening in the world. Of course people might be nationalistic, but offering peace is what more western countries could have done.
Israeli intellegence said in jan.2003 that Irak doesn't have any waepons of mass destruction, and somehow had to agree with the American lust for war.
