Since I am now fructose intollerant I think and can't eat anything I get bottle caps, which I vaguely remember enjoying as a kid. (they have dextrose which is the opposite of fructose) There are five flavors, one of them cola that reminds me of the cola I never drink. I realized that I am not as much of a root beer fiend as I thought. Orange, cherry, and grape is good too.

not the swizzlers, or the twizzlers, but the ones that come in the white box with the blue and white stiped plastic wrap. And they used to sell them in the movies, but they always got so stale!
I also am fond of chunky candy bars, and Cadbury chocolate with raisins and nuts.
an old time candy bar I have not seen for years..UNO bars.
but all of those are scarce, so the candy I opt for on a more regular basis is Dark Chocolate, usually 88% caocoa or maybe 95% when I can find it.
that is my favorite to have now-a-days with my coffee.

Hey I remember bottle caps too! I loved them.
My favorite candy is fudge. One year I really had a sweet tooth and pulled a fast one. My husbands aunt, not really his aunt but a lady that they adopted, made fudge and divinity of every sort and gave a box of it to every family for Christmas. We all knew it was her fudge because she made it once a year for Christmas only. So this one year I opened one end of the box and took out a peice of fudge every day and then rewrapped the end and put it back.
It was difficult to play shocked when my husband opened the box and half the candy from one end was missing.....I just said she must have gotten senile......you must have tilted it and they all rolled to that end....and smiled. Of couse he knew I had eaten it and from then on he hid the box from me. Stinker!
