The tread topic is basically about putting of the presence of the LORD.
and clinging to what is the fleshly.

And, most importantly, has anyone here ever been given the choice between a relative and the LORD?

It may be a dumb question, so many of the missionaries here are the first in their families to accept Y'shua as Messiah, and have been rejected by their families.

That is something else...I know.....similar, and just as painful!!

But, have you had to reject a family member because they are spiritually dead?  though they are not interested in rejecting you? or taking away your inheritance?

Have you had to be the assertive one?  The one taking a stand?  The one who is immovable?  NOT confrontational, but removed.

I would like to pray for those who have chosen to stand for their principles, and make a clean break, while facing...maybe on a daily basis family who will remain spiritually dead and unchanging.

The passover season is not really a celebration of families being divided over the promise of redemption.  But it is also in the prophets that in these end times houses will be divided and mothers against daughters and I would like to pray for you.  You are doing the right thing to stand up for your conviction, without confrontation, but with speaking the truth in love.

Do not be afraid He has overcome death and the grave.  A little farther in the text I chose he is in the boat and it is a terrible storm!  and the disciples are afraid and they have to wake up the LORD and cry out to him to save them.  He rebukes them first for their lack of faith and then with only speaking to the storm he calms it.

If the prayers of the righteous avail anything ..may the storms be calmed for you.  May your words be true, and glorify the One who will raise us all to life on the last day.

Don't forget, nothing can separate you from His Love, so do not think you're being stubborn or a tool of Satan or any other lie...When you chose the LORD and living in the Way, you did not loose your life, you gained it, though you may go through many trials at first.

To all the rest, PLEASE pray for those who are going through this, in this day and age, and pray for the same strengthening that was afforded the forefathers who went through this in the scriptures..The SAME spirit indwells you, I believe the Holy Spirit is not the last one to know any of our choices!  You do not have to "break it to the LORD gently".
I think He lead you to a place in your walk where you had the strength to say "no" and mean it.

May the LORD bless you and keep you.
bye for now,
kimberly
