Jesus was the most remarkable esoteric teacher in human history. Unfortunately he is the most misunderstood of them all.
Jesus and Apollonius of Tyana both did remarkable feats, healed the sick, they were clairvoyant and prolific Esoteric Teachers of the Ancient Wisdom. Interestingly from these two Masters Apollonius' name is all but forgotten by the masses.
Why is this? Jesus died on the cross and Apollonius of Tyana disappeared after sensed that his persecution was foreboding. His death on the cross that made Jesus the most talked about and most misunderstood of the two.

There is a philosophical and worldview question at stake here.
The major flaw in the evangelical moment is thinking that Christ was somehow the last name of Jesus.
In fact the Christ Principle the Chistos was a known concept before the life of Jesus.
The other is the philosophical idea that we need to be saved somehow from ourselves and we can only be redeemed through the crucifixion and being “born again” as the Bible states.

Origen of Alexandria was declared a heretic but later re-instated by the Church.
Apparently his statute was too great too crucify him despite that his goal in life to be crucified, he was imprisoned and tortured by the emperor Decius in 250. It is alleged that his father and later his son were all crucified by the Romans.
Origen of Alexandria

IN fact we are "born again" when we awaken to the inalienable truth how the universe works,
our clear purpose is revealed thereon and we strive to serve and try to curtail our ego.
This is what Jesus had tried to teach and sadly his message has lately fallen to so many deaf ears when again we are talking about Crusades and fighting between religions.
I am as “born again” as the next evangelical Christian when I look in the mirror in the morning.

More on Jesus and his early years
Are you saying that "My Master - Yes, Messiah? NO WAY" is what you're saying, or what others are saying? If you're saying that, you need to look really carefully at what you're saying:

  1. You can't say Jesus is your Master if He's not your Savior or Messiah. People believe in their ultimate masters as their messiah.
  2. John 1-3 and John 14:6 make it clear that the Jesus called the Christ is more than an ordinary teacher.
  3. What the Crusaders did was not Biblical. In fact, there are many verses in the Bible that make it clear that there would be people who would be nominal Christians or wolves in sheeps' clothing (Mathhew 7:15 is an example of a verse.).

Now, from what I've heard and seen, and told and shown others, I'd read Isaiah 53, the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John; and the letters of Paul. Then you'll understand why many Yehudim (Jews) and goyim (Gentiles, like me) have called Jesus (Y'shua) the Christ (HaMashiach).
I do not believe the Divine incarnation - what is divine cannot be ever in form. Jesus was a very important teacher with a capital T but he was not God nor the son of God in the way most Evangelicals would think. IN fact we are all the son of God or the daughters (depending on your gender). That's all.
I wrote a paper called "The Hijacking of Jesus the Christ" see the details there.

It was prophesied that the Son of Man- the only begotten Son- would be born of a virgin in a stable in Bethlehem. So, unless the prophets and John were wrong, you may want to recheck your after reading the books of Isaiah and other prophets, and John, carefully.
