Praise the Lord. Thank you for your prayers for my grand baby Emma and her family. Here is the update on her condition since asking you to pray for her. G*d is so good, disease is awful, but life without G*d is unbearable! Excerpts from letter from dauther-in-law.

Emma has been diagnosed with Dermatomyositis. Luckily, she's had it for only 6-7 months and was diagnosed early. We can pin point the exact day her allergic reaction triggered it. We spent a week in Miami Children's Hospital where she was treated by the director of Rheumatology (who has taken her case, and has miraculously treated this disease before) and he truly believes she will be in remission in about two years or so. She has had to start some serious drugs... and we find out this Friday how it's going. It'll be 3 weeks... We've seen an great improvement in the rash and her strength. She is also leveling out with the side effects, which I'm glad about. Bless her heart, the steroids wreak havoc on her and it's just weird since she's always been such a good, soft spoken child to see her throwing tantrums... it's just too weird! haha

Thank you for your prayers for her, they are greatly appreciated and needed as well. She'll do good. I pray for strength for her. I also pray for strength for myself so that I can give her strength when she needs it. She's a very resilient child, but she's still only a child. She's so little, it very hard to watch her go through this. I'm mommy, I'm supposed to be able to kiss it and make it better, and I can't. So instead we make a game of the meds and spend most of our time in our pool (since she can't really go anywhere because of her immunity) and she's thriving more now than before, I think. Each day it gets easier and she gets better. We have good days and bad days, but the good outweighs the bad and we work through the bad, so it's okay in the end.

End of letter. Thank you so very much and please keep my grand baby and her family in your prayers. Shalom. Thank you Jesus and Glory to G*d in heaven. Miracles are happening because of our great and wonderful redeemer. I refuse to be afraid and live in fear no matter what life gives me! Though ten thousand fall on our right and left we shall be firmly well in our Lord.We have a great salvation given to us how can we not take whatever life gives to us with gratitude and love?
