who says He didnt,if you are looking for peace in this sinful world goodluck!
when Jesus was brought before Pilate  Pilate asked Him if He was a king.Jesus repiled " if my kingdom was of this world my followers would fight my kingdom is NOT of this world"
in the book of Matthew Jesus says to His followers i did not come to bring peace but a sword houses shall be divided because of me and family memebers will turn against each other.those who cling to their traditions will not inherit Gods kingdom those who follow Christ without doubting Him without clinging to a form of religion without true Godliness we cannot live as the gentiles live chasing after earthly pleasures if we want to inherit the kingdom of heaven.this world is not our home heaven is our home and in order to return we must listen to God listen to Jesus who is the Word of God.Jesus is Gods Word His words are truth and we must feed from them daily if we are to live.in the book of John Jesus prays for His followers and all who believe after them He says sanctify them by the truth Father your Word is truth.when we are in the body of Christ HE sanctifies us and we are like Him.
also in the book of John Jesus proclaims HE is the bread of life,those who eat of His bread will never be hungry and those who drink of His wine which is the blood He freely gave that all may live will never be thirsty.He also when speaking to the samaritan woman at Jacobs well said "I have living water and those who drink of it will never be thirsty again for it will flow in them as a river of life and quench them.the Holy Spirit is the living water He refers to which can only be received through babtism fully immersed in water for remission of our sins.

You have deep understanding of Gds word. Thanks for sharing it with me. Can I share a good book with you. Its not on this subject, per se, while Jesus did cause all of us to rethink our lives and the Holy Spirit did draw us back to Gd because of him these people are not helping our country. Jesus  was not exactly popular amond the elite crowds but the common people loved him for his miracles and his gentle ways he may not have come to bring news that would necessarily unite  ALL of us initially but it will eventually, my favorite word, eventually, everyting good takes time. This book is about some people in America who are popular but on the wrong road and leading others down it too. Sad. Some of it is indeed comical and some is heavy but the writer is insightful and has a sarcasm I like. I like humor masked in sarcasm.

My review of book, 100 PEOPLE WHO ARE SCREWING UP AMERICA, by Bernard Goldberg. Good book.

This book takes a sarcastic and highly comical look at Americans who are making themselves look bad. The writer reminded me of Bill O'Reilley and his patriots and pinheads proclamations but I like this book better because you like the writer better. You get the feeling this man backs up what he says and would be more willing to jump into the fire to help someone than someone who would either write a book about the fire or the failings of the fireman and I like that in a man and especially in a writer. I agree MJ had a deserving spot on this list and I find myself happy that Goldberg did not write but one line about MJ and it was right on given the light of recent events.
I recommend this book to others. I give it a 4 only because I dont care much for pinhead proclamations to me its better to award positive behaviour in people inorder to reinforce it than to point out mistakes, thats the women of this worlds job not men, and hey all people screw up at sometime in their lives!

Jesus brings peace to us through His blood on the cross.
And yes I understand why the Sanhedrin not yet can't believe that Jesus is the Messiah.
The Word say that they crucify Jesus cause they can not believe that This is the Messiah That was promised.
you can say their eyes are closed by God.
But in the history the Sanhedrin makes a war cause people like the prophets we have in the new Testament cause they talk about Jesus again en mutch people believe Jesus is the Messiah.
But God promised us that even(sorry for my bad English) the Sanhedrin shall say Jesus is the Messiah one time in the future their eyes shall be opened.
The Jews learns the Truth from the Christians but their stay Jews forever if they liked or not .
God told us we have to put our eyes on the Jews and Israël there are the signs of the ends of this world.
I loved to see that God promise are coming out, Jewish people became to believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah.
I like that to see cause John tells us; Who believed in Gods One and Onely Son will not died but have eternal live through the blood of Jesus.
If some one says Israël is not good cause see at the Gaza war.
I say Palestina is not good cause see at the Gaza war.
Now I believed the antiChrist is in the Muslim religion, and I now Ismaël is a son of Abraham to but God only bless Yitzchak.

Jesus said it himself in Matthew:

Mat 10:34 ¶ Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.  

Mat 10:35   For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.  

Mat 10:37   He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.  

World peace won't come in until after the time of Jacob's Troubles when Jesus comes to set up His Kingdom on earth.

Immanuel is not always a good thing for some!

There will be no peace until Yeshua returns, and New Jerusalem decsends from Heaven, and the ; Lion of Judah shall sit upon His Throne, until then; All Hell is breaking loose from it's chains! Thank G-d for grace!, and ,as Lot was led from Sodom and Gommorrah, I believe so will G-d bring the Church from His wrath!

The Scripture says, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, no one came through the Father except through Him! What God always gives us is the spirit of peace and reconciliation, not the spirit of disaster! When the Father is the originator of peace, definitely, His Son, Jesus Christ, would have the same character from the Father! We as children of God all know Jesus is the prince of Peace, this Son of God has overcome the death, He is the most vicorious individual in the history of mankinds! To God be the glory! If some people should say He didn't bring peace, then it it too ungrateful!

Yeshua brought the promise of the Father; The complete Restoration of Isarel, and this promise overflowed unto the gentile's that accept Israel's promise, and believe, and the Mashiach lives within us; the ultimate plan;You know; like a Baker baking a cake, it is bitter, and scorching to the tongue until the cake is finished, and cooled enough to eat! I hold on to my life, and hope, though in tremendous pain, and failing health, because I know of the promise of Heaven, but now I find; life is a little bitter, and hurting, and I have deep anguish of the events beginning to happen!  If we look to Luke 12:49-53; Yeshua speaks of the cost of discipleship,and Yeshua in 12:51, Says; You think I have come to give peace on earth? I say to you now, No!, but rather division!, and as the Meshiach said ;if the world hates me so will they hate you! I am afraid the peace He brings is not for this wicked world!, but for the Kingdom of eternal life, and Love , and Peace to come, and the righteous  suffer with the unrighteous, as we see earthquakes , and floods, and famine, and disease,wars, and persecution fall upon good and bad, innocent children, Jews , and gentiles!, and the destruction will come again of Jerusalem, and Israel encompassed with armies of the beast[Luke21:25-28][but this time Israel shall not fall!] but when we see these things come to pass,look up for our redemption draws near![Luke 21:8-19] Shalom to you Blessed child of G-d,and peace in Yeshua ,for you are; Blessed!, and you hold on to the knowledge of your Faith in that blessing ;Pure within your heart!, and Loved by G-d!

The task Jesus gives us in life is to rely on HIM regardless of the situation! Remember Daniel in 6: 10, when his faith has been tested, he was not moved or reacted panic, it's said, "Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; an his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime."

It's said, whatever you believe, it works for you, but it may not be the correct for you! The Scripture says, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, no one came through the Father except through Him! So if we want the best for our faith, why we couldn't believe in the best, our Savior!

Nothing in this world could bring us peace, no material substance or other religious founders, except the Prince of Peace - Jesus Christ! Hope this may create profound understanding!
