Remember there were only 13,000 out of the whole of Israel who did not bow their knee to Ba'al. And there was only 1 righteous man - if there can be a righteous man - in the whole city of Sodom.

These points about X people converting to Xianity or Y converting back to the traditions of men (rabbinic Judaism), in the end, as noted in the above replies, hold no water. It is not the numbers that count, but the truth.

You can try rationalise as much as you want, but fact remains, there are many learned priests, and clergymen who after years and years of studying the new Testament and old testament, converted to Judaism.  And most of them will say the same story that the new testament is full of discrepancies.

Yet there are almost zero true Orthodox Rabbis, or even learned Jews that have come to believe in Jesus as G-d.

I'm not rationalising anything: did you read the above post? Read with the mind, not the eyes.I'll reiterate what was said above:

The fact of the matter is that NO SIGNIFANCE can be attached to numbers: e.g. 10^100 clergy converting to the traditions of men and 0 rabbis coming back to the truth means nothing. I adduced what is written in your own scriptures: even if the whole of Israel converted to Baalism after reading the torah and talmud - that does not mean that Baalism is true. If one lived at that time one could say: behold, even the high priest and the king has poured out incense to the Baal therefore Baal must be true!

No significance can be attach to numbers whatsoever. That's my point.

thank you for your considerate reply.  Sheitl Queen.

I should think it is a very hard task to prepare a Rabbi, and also, the
ordination process seems to be very sober indeed.

Nothing to enter into lightly, and nothing that you should fear I hope?

bye for now,

In israel Alone there about 10,000 jews who believe in jesus and you think their family had not done everything in their power to hammer them with rabbinical tradition?

Probably not. In Israel the Jews are divided between the observant Orthodox and the totally non-observant who have no Jewish religious education in their schools whatsoever. I suspect that the 10,000 you have quoted are from the latter group.

"rabbinical tradition" is not necessarily knowledge and wisdom.

The truth is known when one studies for him/her self.

Just because they are Israeli, does not mean they know and have studied Torah.  My point is that 10000 ignorant and unlearned Israelis, come to believe Jesus is the Messiah does not mean anything.  One Pastor who has studied the new testament his whole life, yet after learning about Judaism, and studying things from both sides, and chooses to reject his lifes beliefs, and learnings, in view of something new that he has learnt.....now that does show something!

Now reverse that show me one learned Orthodox Rabbi, that has studied both sides, and picked Jesus as G-d.  Show me a Rabbi like this.  I can show you at least 50 recent very learned people who came to see the truth in what Jesus is, and who G-d is.

Yes indeed....which is why we find it so offensive when
Christian ministers start calling themselves "rabbi"..or even
"Messianic" Jews take on the title.....it belittles it.
