Hello!
My name is Jessica and i currently live in Boise Idaho. I am not jewish by birth, but upon moving to Idaho I found a wonderful christian church (called twentysixeight- based off of Isaiah 26:8 http://www.268church.org/ ) The people there are amazing and the church as a whole practices a very "charismatic/messianic" way. We celebrate Sabbath on saturday, and celebrate all of the biblical holidays. At first I thought this a bit strange ( I was invited by a friend) as I had grown up in a "sunday service christmas/easter" type church. I soon came to realize that The Lord had reasons for these celebrations! And just because we are no longer bound by the Law for our salvation, there is a freedom in following it that pulls us closer to our Lord and Saviour! The Lord has really convicted my heart on this matter ( as well as my families) and we look forward to celebrating these special times each week, season, and year!
But we are soon to move to Minnesota and I have no idea if any churches even exsist out there like this. I have been doing searches and the JfJ came up. I am hoping someone might know of some good recommendations for places we might try. We most likely will be living in/around the twin cities area but are willing to drive a bit if need be. ( I heard there might be one in Hudson WI?)

Please let me know! Thank you! and God Bless!

I don't know anybody there personally, but Zemer Levav is going there and they did a wonderful concert in our congregation.
Dear jlmccranie: I am in Minnesota, amd spirit-filled and am a messianic jew. I attend a great spirit-filled congregation wherewe dance, praise with our hands lifted and have great teaching. We use flags and I wear my kippah and prayer shawl oftentimes. I have atended Seed of Abraham where Rabbi Ed Rothman  leads and also Kehilat Sar Shalom in St Paul (Cleveland Avenue) . Sar Shalom is closer to first century believers in what they try to do. But I am not sure how spirit-filled the group is. I also know someone at the group mentioned by you in Hudson but haven't been there yet. I have a phone number of our friend and will ask him soon where the group in Hudson meets because we want to try it too. I will try to do this soon so I can have a name and address to post here. Hello Krisi, Pam and I are having great difficulty fnding a spirit filled church in Indianapolis It's hard to find the music annointed, and prophetic teaching that combines Judaism[ the roots and trunk] of the tree of G-d that includes the grafted branches. Only then with the living water of the spirit shall the tree bear fruit. I know you understand. Most churches are still stuck on good friday and easter; though thier not in the Bible; [KJV  accurately] I wish we could find a church that was Hebrew rooted, and filled with the Holy Ghost. Perry Stone ministries [V.O.E.org] is an evangelist who teaches Hebrew / Christianity and comes there occasionaly, but is based in the South. He has a great website, and Hal Lindsay. I do not discourage people from attending church, but in another post comparing percentages I said. Just because you say your a Christian and go to church does't make anyone a Christian, anymore than standing in a garage makes you a car. The church lies within us, and I try to live my life every moment as if I am in church, though I do not carry a collection plate with me. Maybe you should start your own home group as the true believers seem to be dwindling. I tryed to start a church once and was pushed out eventually. The Holy of Holies lies within us beyond our soul, find that place by not looking. G-d will find you!I look forward to each day ;the gifts G-d brings unto me that I never could see yesterday that make my today work. I will pray you find a church, and will you pray we find one as well, as to not deny the assembling, but I believe right now as you read this we are in Church. PS# My father was healed of a brain aneurism [ The scientist evolutionary genius guy. He said he needed a 100% proof to believe. I said if you knew 100% Yeshua was real ; would you believe ?on his death watch; he said yes;of course I laid my hand on his head, and when I lifted it Yeshua's hand remained. He believes, and is totally healed! I took him home a miracle!Shalom
I used to attend Sar Shalom in St. Paul until it the theology got a little too wacky.
