Here is a chart showing the relationship between the Old Hebrew chronology of the Scripture, the Jubilee cycles and other interesting cycles and epics. This chronology is based on the MT version of the Old Testament chronology.

thank you william;
I like things like this, a lot, because they are so honest about how man has followed along a path not of his making. No matter what he does!
bye for now,

Interesting. I just hope that the End Times are sooner than 2030 AD, though.
Kimberly,

I have to agree that our heavenly Father does indeed have a plan for mankind. I do believe though that we must make our own choice as to weather or not we follow Him. Once we accept His will then He can direct our lives.
Here are a few more charts on the subject of the Jubilee cycles.

*******In the 2nd temple period there were 3 periods of 70 years that are described. There were the 70 years of Babylonian captivity. The 70 years between the destruction of the 1st temple and the completion of the 2nd. There were also 70 years of Divine anger. When Daniel 9 is place in its proper chronlogoical context the whole chronology takes on new meaning. From the creation of Adam until the 2nd temple era there were 70 Jubilee cycles. Each of the 3 periods of 70 years mentioned above began within that 70th Jubilee cycle. At the end of the 70 years of Divine anger (which was the middle of the three 70 year periods) precisely on the 71st Jubilee YHWH gave the divine command to rebuild the temple and Jerusalem. This divine command marked the beginning of the 70 “weeks” of Daniel 9.
Hello YehudiaOfYeshua,
Interesting. I just hope that the End Times are sooner than 2030 AD, though.
I believe we are in the end of this age right now. While I do not know when Yashua will return it is my hope that it will be sooner than later. It does seem to me that the cycles point to the culmination of His plan in the near future.
With this Hope in mind, Maranatha!!!!!!!

Here is some more informaiton reltated to the charts above and the Messiah.
One of the 1st things detractors of the New Testament point to is Matthew 1:1 and the genealogical list of Yashua. For those who have looked at the subject it is clear that the New Testament list left out 4 of the Old Testament kings. Many assume this list to have been mistranslated. Critic have used this for centuries to undermine the creditability of the New Testament book of Matthew.
What if the author of Matthew had intended to make the list 4 names short? What could have been his reasoning. The answer to this question I believe is found in the Chronology of the Scripture. Matthew 1 is an ingenious list constructed to show that Yashua was the Messiah as well as shows He came at the appointed time. Whoever wrote the list of Matthew 1 purposely constructed it so that it provided much more information than 1st meets the eye.
For instance there are 14 generations between Abraham and Yashua (Jesus). Do you think it is a coincidence that there are also 41 Jubilee cycles between Abraham and Yashua? Or how about the fact that Abraham was born in the 41st Jubilee cycle. This is an unlikely coincidence.
If the Old Testament names are added back in to the list of Matthew 1 and then you include all the ancestors from Adam and YHWH you have a total of 66 names. The Old and New Testament as it is currently configured consist of 66 books. The story of mankind’s sin and rebellion met with YHWH plan of reconciliation through Yashua our Messiah. (from Genesis to Revelation).
It is also interesting to realize as noted in the Epics and Cycles chart that the 1st period of time between YHWH and the coming of the Messiah was 6 x 666 years. Mankind’s period of sin and rebellion interrupted. Also worth noting is that Matthew 1 is the lineage of Yashua through His – legal – father Joseph. This lineage is curse by YHWH through Jehoiachin or Coniah as he is sometimes called. Yashua’s physical line could not come through Jehoiachin. Appropriately this lineage is marked by the number 66.
If the lineage of Yashua as given in Luke is looked at it is marked by 77 generations. This lineage is through David and his son Nathan. It does not have the curse of Jehoiachin nor the sin of David and Bathsheba. This is Yashua’s physical lineage through Mary the daughter of Heli.

Please note the following paragraph should read 41 instead of 14.

Simply amazing, it's all laid out so clearly, looks like the anti missionaries are going to have to a lot on their hands for this one.

Oh wow, I just noticed your post on Daniel 9 as well, that definitely gives the Daniel 9 interpretation of the Messiah much more strength!
Hello Neotetro,
One of the biggest problems I have with most interpretations of Daniel 9 is that they have been based on a Gentile perspective of the Scripture. Almost all the early Jewish messianic fulfillment attempts based on Daniel 9 began with a "Divine" command to restore and build Jerusalem. They (early Jewish messianic expectants) instinctively knew that only YHWH could give a command that would begin the Countdown to the Messiah.
Another problem I have with interpretations based on Sir Robert Anderson and others is that they do not use a Jewish reckoning of time. The Hebrews Scriptures are based on a lunar/solar calendar. Daniel 9 was clearly written to the Jewish people so you would expect it be based on their understanding of time not the modern Gentile perspective.
Finally, one place where I believe both the Jewish and Gentile perspective is incorrect concerning Daniel 9 is their 2nd Temple chronology. Ironically “modern Christian" thought wished to distance itself from the "Jewishness" of the Messiah and the Scriptures but in the case of the chronology of Daniel 9 they followed the same errors in many cases. Because of the failure of many of the early messianic fulfillment attempts the 2nd temple era chronology became confused. Each time one of the messianic heroes from Judas Maccabaeus onward failed to fulfill Daniel 9 they would use the 2nd year of another Persian king to begin a new count. This resulted in the rabbinic chronology eclipsing much of the Persian period. Ultimately this resulted in much confusion regarding the identity of "Artaxerxes". Today most "Christian" interpretations promote the same errors and misunderstandings concerning this "Artaxerxes". It is fascinating for me to see hints of this even in the rabbinic writings.
Daniel 9 and the 70 “weeks” prophecy are truly and uniquely “Jewish” . It was written to Daniel’s “people” and understood from their perspective. In my opinion most modern Gentile interpretations have done a great disservice to this most important messianic prophecy.
