Maybe people in the Messianic movement believe that the Apostles were Torah compliant. This is based on Acts 15 and Acts 21:17-15, which depict the Holy Spirit telling Jewish people to keep the Torah, but gentiles essentially to keep the Noachide laws.
In Acts 21:17-25, Ya'akov, the Lord's brother, tells Sha'ul/Paulos to take a vow that he would never teach Jews not to observe the Mitzvot of the Torah.
Paulos never gets to complete his vow, because a circus erupts and he is arrested and carted all over the gentile world as a prisoner instead.
Many gentile commentators believe this means God PREVENTED Paulos from supporting the Torah with a vow because it was "nailed to the cross" and that this revelation only came later. Yet it is the Torah which makes oaths binding!
Many Jewish believers point out that Elohim promised the Torah to be forever and for all generations of Israelis (Exodus 12:24, etc.) Since God does not contradict Himself like a human politician, than the Torah is truly meant to be enduring.
Yeshua even said the Torah would not pass away before heaven and earth did (Matt 5:17).
Can we trust gentiles who teach Jewish families not to keep the Mitzvot in the Torah? Was Elohim REALLY trying to stop Paulos from completing his vow to support Torah observance for the Jewish people?
When the Old Covenant "died" along with the Temple (Hebrews 8:7, 13) did ANY of it (like the Shabbat) remain for the Jewish people?

Paul said The whole law can be summon in One command to love others

I agree to a point that God covenant with israel is everlasting but How is it everlasting? God even said there shall be a new covenant. I believe this is jeremiah.
I believe when God means never ending he means israel will never be without a covenant.
Also if we Go to The hebrew where jeremiah used the term New covenant is not not mean a re-new covenant but The hebrew text actually reads brand new like something was not seen before.

I think paul noted sabbath a shadow of The cross something that will be fullfilled. I do not think we are any longer under a fix day of the week and we have to keep that day etc....
I believe jesus is our sabbath instead of we having to keep mandatory day we can rest any day now in Jesus.
Jesus himself said Come to me all you that have heavy burdens you will find rest IN me for my yoke is light.

They kept the Torah with understanding not with all the laws.
If the Apostle Peter (Apostle to the Jews) was not able to keep the Torah the Apostle to the Gentiles most certainly didn't!
Gal 2:14 NIV When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?
No one teaches not to keep the mitzvots... they teach don't stand on your filthy rags!
"When the Old Covenant "died" along with the Temple (Hebrews 8:7, 13) did ANY of it (like the Shabbat) remain for the Jewish people?"
The Old Covenant did not die with the destruction of the second Temple, any more than it died with the destruction of the first Temple. The verses referenced above say that "it is ready to disappear" but those verses do NOT specify when that disappearance is to take place. A little examination reveals the answer. When the old covenant disappears, Jesus will be a high priest after the order of Mechizedek (Psalm 110:4, Hebrews 7:21). Hebrews 8:4 states that Jesus cannot be a priest ON THIS EARTH. Therefore, the New Covenant will come into full force and the Old Covenant will disappear ONLY when this world has been destroyed. There are other proofs, but that is enough for now.
At the same time, a person who dies and is raised with Jesus Christ in the inner man dies to this world to the Law, and to his flesh. That is why we are not under the Law. The Law does not die out, WE die out!

1. I do not see where it says in hebrews 8:4 the earth needs to be destroyed for Jesus to be high priest. i agree jesus to be Our priest he must not be on earth the verse clearly says that but i do not find where it says earth must be destroyed. Jesus Christ as right now is not on earth so he can be the preist even now and so many other scriptures Already call jesus our priest.
I just wondering where you get the world must be destroyed for the NT to come in full force. Are we under two covenants or one right now? did not jesus say This blood is The new covenant? I believe once jesus blood was spilled we enter into a new Covenant.
Jesus is our high priest in heaven now. Someday, Jesus will be a priest on earth, but not on this earth but on the new earth. God cannot abrogate the Law here. Hebrews 8:4 is strong proof of that. If Jesus, God's Son, cannot be high priest on this earth because that job belongs to the Levites, that tells me that God cannot just up and change the Law.
We are under the New Covenant spiritually now. Physically, the whole world is under the Old Covenant still. The New Covenant cannot come in full force until our redemption is complete. Romans 8:23 tells us we are awaiting the redemption of the body. That will happen in the Resurrection. Then the heavens and earth will be remade. Then everything will finally be completely fulfilled, but not before then.
It has been assumed that the Law ended when Jesus died, or alternatively when the temple was destroyed. Those ideas are assumptions without any evidence except that somebody thought it made sense. They have caused an unnecessary stumblingblock to Jews. It is high time to get back to the truth of what the New Testament really says. I don't have time to get into it any more right now.
