What is a Name!

The name Jesus conveys different things to different people. Depending on the individual, it can mean an historical figure, a good teacher, a prophet, or a curse word. Yet to many throughout the world, that name is synonymous with "Lord and Savior."

What is it about that name? Why do some respond in praise and worship while others react in profanity and anger? The answer is that Jesus isn't simply a person; He's an issue. And our response to who He is determines not only our way of life, but also our eternal destiny

The name of Jesus Christ represents all He is and all He does. Scripture identifies Him as the Son of God, equal to the Father in character and attributes: He is eternal, all-powerful, sovereign, and ever-present. The Bible also says He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things (Col. 1:16).

Jesus came to earth as the God-man for the purpose of saving mankind. Because He lived a perfect life, Christ is the only person in history who is qualified to pay the penalty for someone else's sin. He secured our forgiveness and offers us the gift of salvation on the basis of faith.

One day Christ will sit as mankind's ultimate, final judge. Those who have accepted His payment for their sins will live with Him forever.

Have you chosen to receive Christ's offer of salvation? A transformed life now and an eternal kingdom in heaven await all who call Him Savior and King. If you've never made the wise decision to accept His free gift, why not do so now? Then rejoice in the fact that Jesus will return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Jesus is a very special name isnt it? When you say it something warm happens inside your heart. Pray for those who dont see Jesus as the Messiah. Pray. That is the best thing to do. G*d bless you.
Ezekiel  21 ;9 -10 kjv Bible old testament
Son of man , prophesy , and say , Thus saith the Lord ; Say , A  sword , a  sword is sharpened , and also furbished  .  It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter ; it is furbished that it may glitter ;  should we then make mirth ? it contemneth the rod of My Son , as every tree .

Revelation  19 ; 15-16 kjv new testament  .   And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword , that with it he should smite the nations ; and he shall rule them with a rod of iron ; and he threadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God .
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written , King of Kings , and Lord of Lords .
Our brother Pilippians says ;
Phil 2:9  Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names.

We need to be immersed in His name to receive the holy spirit.
Yes we are immersed in Yeshua his death
Or don’t you know that all we who were immersed into Messiah Yeshua were immersed into his death? (Rom6:3-12)

Paul says it very clear in Act19:1-5
It happened that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul, having passed through the upper country, came to Ephesus, and found certain disciples.
He said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?”

They said to him, “No, we haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

He said, “Into what then were you immersed?”

They said, “Into Yochanan’s immersion.”

Paul said, “Yochanan indeed immersed with the immersion of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the one who would come after him, that is, in Yeshua.”

When they heard this, they were immersed in the name of the Lord Yeshua.
When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke with other languages and prophesied.

Yes ofcourse we pray ,but we need to testify also .
As we can read in the scripture,it says this :
Rom 10:11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”

10:12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.
10:13 For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Anja says : whoever will call on the name of Yah,shua will be saved.
But how will they call on his name if they do not believe he is their saviour and their God .

10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a proclaimer?
10:15 And how will they proclaim unless they are sent? As it is written:

“How beautiful are the feet of those who proclaim the Good News of peace,
who bring glad tidings of good things!”

10:16 But they didn’t all listen to the glad news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”10:17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 10:18 But I say, didn’t they hear? Yes, most certainly,

“Their sound went out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.”

10:19 But I ask, didn’t Israel know? First Moses says,

“I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation,
with a nation void of understanding I will make you angry.”

10:20 Isaiah is very bold, and says,

“I was found by those who didn’t seek me.
I was revealed to those who didn’t ask for me.”

10:21 But as to Israel he says, “All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”

11:1 I ask then, did God reject his people? May it never be!

Shalom
Anja .
