The Oneness Pentecostals claim that JESUS is literally "the name" of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. They do not understand that the phrase "in the name of" means "on behalf of" or "at the behest of", so they get confused comparing Matthew 28:19 with Acts 2:38 and think that some divine revelation is required to reconcile them.
They also teach that
(1) JESUS is the name of the Father, which is another name for the Holy Spirit
(2) CHRIST is the name of the Son, or human body
(3) Combining JESUS (the Father) with CHRIST (the Son) means the combination of "God the Spirit" fused with a human body.
Therefore a common myth among Oneness Pentecostals is the claim that no verse exists in the Bible which refers to JESUS as the "Son of God" unless it also includes the word CHRIST.
Of course, that is simply not true, and the Bible makes a tatters of the Oneness doctrine with the following devastating verses which speak of JESUS THE SON but do not contain the phrase "Christ":
Matthew 8:29 "And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?"
Acts 3:13 "The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go."
Acts 3:26 "Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities."
Acts 4:27 "For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,"
Acts 13:33 "God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee."
1 Thessalonians 1:10 "And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come."
Hebrews 4:14 "Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession."
1 John 4:15 "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God."

CASE CLOSED! Jesus is the name of God's Son.
