Dan 11:24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do [that] which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: [yea], and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

I was wondering if anyone noticed this scripture?  When the Bible uses the word time as in 'even for a time', usually that refers to a year, right?

Has anyone noticed that the monies distributed to different companies total more money than has ever been given to anyone in history?

I found some figures illustrating the size of the monies distributed, and yes, these are the largest in history.  These figures are from Bloomberg.

The U.S. government and the Federal Reserve have spent, lent or committed $12.8 trillion, an amount that approaches the value of everything produced in the country last year, to stem the longest recession since the 1930s. The money works out to $42,105 for every man, woman and child in the U.S. and 14 times the $899.8 billion of currency in circulation. The nation’s gross domestic product was $14.2 trillion in 2008.

A few verses earlier it says that the 'he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries'.  

Daniel 11:25 says 'And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army: and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army: but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him'.  

I just heard that there is to be renewed engagement with Afghanistan next year with between 35,000 to 40,000 new troops being sent.

Daniel chapter 11 from verses 21 through 45 have an alarming amount of detail about endtime world events.

Alarming for sure - but we are still far from endtime.

That is why the few go...weep for the many.

Of the remnant, the Bible says:

‘And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.  And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel’ Rev 7:2-4

After the 2 witnesses were ascended into heaven it says ‘And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven’.  Rev 11:13

‘And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ’. Rev 12:17

These things take place deep in the tribulation.  I heard a few other disturbing things recently.  There will be a meeting at the end of the month in Copenhagen where a treaty to form a one world government is supposed to be signed.  And this article at http://www.sphere.com/2009/12/02/israel-...jerusalem/ where
it is said there is a document circulated by Sweden, which currently holds the presidency of the EU to call on European foreign ministers to recognize East Jerusalem as the capital of a Palestinian state. The proposal is set to be discussed at a two-day meeting in Brussels next week on the peace process. Israeli officials say if adopted, it would be a major change from the current international position.This would recognize Palestinian claims to East Jerusalem but not Israeli claims to West Jerusalem. It looks like there is a possible shift about to occur.

I would strongly disagree with the assertion that we are far from the end times. We are IN the end times now. Many Bible prophecy scholars agree that the first major sign that we past when we entered the end times was the re-birth of the modern state of Israel. God has promised that once he regathered the Jewish people into the nation a second time, he would never allow them to be destroyed or dispersed again.

Dr. Arnold Frutchenbaum goes a little further and says the first sequence of pre-tribulational events was WW1 and WW2.

As I see the Temple Mount closed for Sukkot, and Arabs uprising; I see the beast rising in the heart of Jerusalem. Many scholars, and Hebrew Rabbi's have tried to break the number code ;666. Why would G-d send a computer to hell? So it comes back to 3 Greek letters; the first; Chi; that takes the apperance of an X in English, and is the 1rst. 2 letters in Greek ; meaning ;Christos; Greek for Christ. In symbol form the letter X looks much like the 2 swords crossed together in the  pictures of Iraqi desrt storm;still standing , and in Saudi Arabia; the ensignia ;2 swords crossed over green X[CHI]=600.The 2nd.Greek letter;XI =60, was said to look very similar in appearance to the Arabic letter that forms the name ;Allah, by former Pakistani Muslim Simon Altaf.. The 3rd.Greek letter stigma=6 ,is also connected to the Islamic religion. In Greek , the letter is not a word, but signifies a brand placed on slaves, cattle or perhaps the marking of ones forehead from bowing thier head to the ground leaving a mark. When the letter; Stigma is tuned sideways means ;Muhammed, as a few years ago ; a lamb was born in Durmen village, Ubekistan, 3 days before a Major Muslim Holiday. The black fleece had a white pattern that formed these three symbols, which when the word stigma was turned sideways translates ; Muhammed. yes i think we have been in endtimes for a good while. the elephant in the room is Iran on the verge of atomic weapons . something has to happen soon.i believe we are close to the day  the moon turns blood red.

i think Kosherette makes a good point with the redistribution of the wealth. sounds like scattering among them the prey and the spoil  and the riches .and someting could happen that causes the 144,000 of all the tribes of Israel to stand up.(  it is not said how long it will take,so it could be suddenly)

The amount of money given is very important in that it is almost as much total money that the whole country has, put together.  This means the monies must be printed, or created.  A significant portion of the money will go to banks.  Banks apply fractional banking methods based on the amount of money they actually have, thus multiplying new money even further.  I've been trying to keep track of prices on food for the last six months or so and have noticed that the percentage of increase in such a short time is really high.  A bag of beans that used to be .69 is now .99.  My organic ketchup used to be $1.69 and is now $1.99.  The actual time between the cause and the final result may turn out to  be years apart, nevertheless the first domino has been tripped. When you add to this the droughts in certain parts of the country, along with California's crop loss, the recent frosts in Florida and the huge crop failure in Mexico you will have hyperinflation plus actual reductions in tangible food stocks.  Also a significant portion of farmers (I have heard 40%) could not obtain loans last year for fertilizers which further reduces output. I always wondered whether Revelation chapter Six was already fulfilled in the 30's or whether it had a future fulfillment.  The times are indeed getting very late and it is important to spread the gospel while we can.  God bless.
