I am an Irish Jew, and I attend an orthodox synagogue. I came across this website by chance and I am interested in learning more about Messianic Judaism(possibly converting). I know very little about it although. Can anyone please tell me more about it? Can you still stay Jewish and be Messianic? What do most Jews think about it?
Yes, you can still remain Jewish and be Messianic.
YOu dont have to convert yourself to anything cause conversion without faith is nothing. What matters most is that you are sensitive to what AV YHWH has been telling you. And about Messianic Judaism it is still Judaism cause Judaism is not religion it is our lifestyle according to Ha TANAKH.
And if you find Yashuah as HA MASHIAKH, refer to the administrator of this website he will be a big help to you in explaining who Yashuah is, or just keep on posting maybe we can help you, imnot a theologian though but we'll ask Av YHWH that He will pour out HIS wisdom to us as we discuss things for HIS glory.
I tell you it's not about religion but it's all about HIM.

Judaism by definition rejects Jesus. Ask your orthodox rabbi.
The NT teaches the Law is holy, righteous and good, but MORE than the Law has been revealed: the source, the alpha and omega of the Law, the Word of God, full of mercy and truth has been revealed in Christ Jesus. Listen to Him and you will see.
He was rejected but became the cornerstone of God's Kingdom; he who follows the Rejected, will also be rejected, don't be surprised or shocked.

Hiber: Its not about "converting". I think that most here would find that thought offensive. We suggest a relationship with your God, not a religion. Without the relationship through the "Proper Offering" requested by God Im afraid all the converting would be a waiste of time.
When they came to Messiah and asked what they must do to inherit eternal life His answer was "Believe on the One sent". Unless the Holy Spirit is challenging your heart your motives might be insincere {only God knows}.
Search the scripture, question everything, and in the end let God be found true and every man a liar. Hope you find what you are looking for.
Its not about converting in the sense of changing your religion from Jewish to Christian. Jesus told Peter he had to be converted what he meant was he had like all of us to be converted to G-d's way of looking at the law,the scriptures and what the Law was really saying.
He kicked away the man made fences that surround the Law and showed us how to love the Law and live with it under grace given by the Lord Jesus who was G-d manifest in flesh.
Search the scriptures diligently and you will find the path he has made for you.

NO RABBI HAS THE RIGHT TO DEFINE JUDAISM WITHOUT YASHUA.
Judaism as what ive always said here is a lifestyle and there is no authoritative definition about this. Judaism is HA LAKHA, The way as what we know and Yashuah never started a religion he always taught lifestyle. I challenge all scholars and all you great sages to prove to me that LORD Yashuah did start a religion and instigated it and taught things away from TANAKH teaches. He fellowship with the great sages in TEMPLE and even impressed them. He never proselyte a Yehudeh to come and start another religion and by the way if anyone prove to me that LORD YASHUAH said anything about religion then im not gonna oppose you people again...
And by the way what authority did those RABBIM have that they can define what Judaism is all about? And telling me that anything about LORD Yashuah is not Judaism that is nothing but lie fabricated by the demon himself...
Judaism with faith that Lord Yashuah ha Netzaree fulfilled the prophecy in MALCHI, Yeshayahu, Tehillim, THE FIRST Statement of BERESHITH, DANYAEL and the whole of TANAKH is 100% JUDAISM... I rest my case. SHALOM!
