I come from a culture and religion that withstood slavery, domination, middle-age tyranny, pogroms, inquisitions, the Holocaust, and wars to end our state.  One day, I young man gave me a pamphlet telling me I can take Jesus as my lord and savior and still remain "Jewish".

Why the hell not!
