Hi,
I’m a Christian who’s a Gentile with a disability and Jewish ancestors. I also admit to being a complete bookworm and history geek. I realize that I cannot convert to Judaism to honor the Lord or my ancestors. However, I can learn about my heritage and try to understand why they fled Germany and went to Russia.
In reading the Old Testament, I realize that I know little of Judaic history beyond what I read in my Bible and the Holocaust. Can anyone recommend in-depth reputable online resources on Jewish history and culture, including how the celebrations of holy days have changed over the centuries?
Thanks,
Bookworm
