‘In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters’. Gen 1-1,2

Here we see Father and Holy Spirit in the act of creations.  

‘And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness’.  

‘Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech’.  Gen 11:7

Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I. Send me!" (Isa 6:8
There is no reference to angels in these texts.  God is doing the sending and needs someone to go for ‘us’.

‘But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen’. Hosea 1:7

God here is speaking in both the first and third person.

‘By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.  By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth. The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.  When he prepared the heavens I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the earth:  When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways’.  Prov 8:15-16, 27-30, 32

These verses refer to God’s Son.


‘Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding’. Daniel 2:20-21

‘hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness’  

These verses refer to God the Father.  His actions are said to be his son when spoken of by God the Father and by his Son.  


‘The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool’. Psalm 110:1

‘neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.  Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore’.  Psalms 16:10-11  

This refers to God’s Holy One’s resurrection and place at the right hand of God.


‘The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;’ Is. 61:1

God’s Son here speaks of the Holy Spirit on Him

‘But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them’. Is.63:10

‘where is he that put his holy Spirit within him? That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, diving the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name? That led them through the deep, as an horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble? As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.’ Is. 63:10

The Holy Spirit is said to be leading the people.  God is also said to be leading the people.

‘And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness’.  

This refers to God’s Son

‘And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, it is my people: and they shall say, the LORD is my God’.  Zech 13:9

Here God refers to himself as a refiner of his children.  
‘And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourned for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.  Zech 12:10  

In verse 1 it states clearly that these are the words of God.  Here God refers to pouring out his spirit as well as referring to himself as the one who was pierced.  The one pierced was his Son.

‘The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness.  Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God’. Isaiah 40:3

This is a prophecy referring to John the Baptist.  He prepared the way for Jesus, the Son of God and yet the scripture says to prepare a way of the LORD.

Do you read much of the Torah? I would suggest that you look at the Hebrew text of Genesis 24:9-10. Do you notice the word àÂãÉðÈéå adonav? Is that singular or plural? Who is it referring to? Is it because the person referred to is similar to God and is essentially a plurality?

What about Genesis 39:2-3, 7-8, 16 and 19? Who is referred to? Is the word adonav singular or plural? Is there some comparison between God and this individual? Why do you think a plural form might be used throughout the chapter?

The Bible presents a God who did not need to create any beings to experience love, communion and fellowship. This God is complete in Himself, being three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, separate and distinct, yet at the same time eternally one God. They loved and communed and fellowshipped with each other and took counsel together before the universe, angels or man were brought into existence. Isaiah "heard the voice of the Lord [in eternity past] saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" (Is 6:8). Moses revealed the same counseling together of the Godhead: "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness"; and again, "Let us go down, and there confound their language" (Genesis 1:26;11:7). Who is this "us" if God is a single entity? Why does God say, "The man is become as one of us" (Gen 3:22)?

Moreover, if God is a single Being, then why is the plural Hebrew noun elohim (literally "gods") used for God repeatedly? In fact, this plural noun is in the center of Israel's famous confession of the oneness of God! The Shema declares, "Hear, O Israel, The Lord our God is one Lord" (Dt 6:4; Mk 12:29). In the Hebrew it reads, "Jehovah our elohim [gods] is one [echad] Jehovah." The Hebrew word echad allows for a unity of more than one. For example, it is used in Genesis 2:24 where man and woman become one flesh; in Exodus 36:13 when the various parts "became one tabernacle"; in 2 Samuel 2:25 when many soldiers "became one troop"; and elsewhere.

Nor is the word elohim the only way in which God's plurality is presented. For example: Psalm 149:2, "Let Israel rejoice in him that made him" (literally "makers"); Ecclesiastes 12:1, "Remember now thy Creator (lit. "creators"); and Isaiah 54:5, "For thy Maker is thine husband (lit. "makers, husbands"). Unitarianism has no explanation for this consistent presentation of God's plurality all through the Old Testament.  

The Hebrew word elohim (gods) occurs about 2,500 times in the Old Testament, while the singular form occurs only 250 times and most of those designate false gods. Genesis 1:1 reads, "In the beginning, elohim created the heaven and the earth"; i.e., literally, "gods created the heaven and the earth." Though a single noun is available, yet the plural form is consistently used for God. And in violation of grammatical rules, with few exceptions, singular verbs and pronouns are used with this plural noun. Why?

At the burning bush it was elohim (gods) who spoke to Moses. Yet elohim did not say, "We are that we are," but "I AM THAT I AM" (Ex 3:14). One cannot escape the fact that, all through the Bible, God is presented as a plurality and yet as One, as having both diversity and unity. This is unique among all the world's religions! To reject the Trinity is to reject the God of the Bible.
The Old Testament also presents three Persons in the Godhead interacting. For example: "Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens....From the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me" (Is 48:12-16). The One speaking through Isaiah refers to Himself as "the first and the last" and the Creator of all, so He must be God. But He speaks of two others in the same passage who must also be God: "the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me." Jesus presented a similar passage to the Pharisees (Mt 22:41-46) when He asked them who the Messiah was, and they said, "The Son of David." He then quoted, "The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool" (Ps 110:1). Then Jesus asked them, "If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?" The Pharisees were speechless. Unitarianism cannot explain these two "Lords."

It is a mystery how God can exist in three Persons yet be one God; but it is also a mystery how God could have no beginning and create everything out of nothing. We can't understand what a human soul or spirit is. Nor can we explain love or beauty or justice. It is beyond human capacity to comprehend the full nature of God's being. But neither can we understand what it means for us or anything else to exist nor can we comprehend what space is or what time is or matter is. For every door science opens, there are ten more unopened doors on the other side. The more we learn, the more rapidly the unknown expands before us like receding images in a hall of mirrors. Unitarians argue that because the Trinity can't be understood it can't be. But the fact that it is beyond human comprehension is no reason for rejecting what the Bible so consistently presents to us. God is telling us about Himself so we can believe in and know Him. We dare not reject what He says or lower it to the level of our finite minds.
Did Abraham see and talk to the Eternal God the father of our Lord ?
Who was standing before Abraham face to face ?
Was it the Son ?
If it was the Logos why did Abraham call him by the name Jehovah ?
And if it was the Eternal Father(who JW,s call Jehovah) why does John says

" No one has seen God at any time".1John 4:12

John says :No one has seen God ,but John does not say "No one has never seen Jehovah"?

Joh 6:46 "No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. "

Lets read some scripture about this advent .

In my Hebrew bible it says YHWH stood before Abraham ,

JEHOVAH THE TRUE GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE .

Gen 18:20 The LORD said, “Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous,I will go down now,
18:21 Jehovah appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day. 18:2 He lifted up his eyes and looked, and saw that three men stood opposite him. When he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself to the earth
22,The men turned from there, and went toward Sodom,
But ABRAHAM STOOD YET BEFORE JEHOVAH .
33.Jehovah( went his way, as soon as he had finished communing with Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.


But John says " No one ever has seen God.... "!
As it says in 1Joh 4:12 No one has seen God at any time.
If the greatest Eternal God is called Jehovah to JW,s
How could Abraham stand before Jehovah and see him and talk to him ?

What is it we do not know ,and what is it we can not see ?

Jehovah witness claim it is the Logos talking to Moses,but i read that Abraham stood in front of one of the tree man calling him by the name Jehovah ?

What about the right arm of Jehovah ?
(Isa 52:10,Isa 53:1,Joh12:39).

Was the Son standing before Abraham ,and did Abraham call him Jehovah ?

1 Sing a new song to Jehovah, because he has done wonders. His right hand, his holy arm have won him victory. 2 Jehovah has made known his victory; revealed his vindication in full view of the nations, 3 remembered his grace and faithfulness to the house of Isra'el.
All the ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God.

4 Shout for joy to Jehovah, all the earth! Break forth, sing for joy, sing praises! 5 Sing praises to Jehovah with the lyre, with the lyre and melodious music! 6 With trumpets and the sound of the shofar, shout for joy before the king, Jehovah! 7 Let the sea roar, and everything in it; the world, and those living in it. 8 Let the floods clap their hands; let the mountains sing together for joy 9 before Jehovah, for he has come to judge the earth; he will judge the world rightly and the peoples fairly .

Gen19:24 Then the LORD caused to rain upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;


The below passage the "man" who wrestled with Jacob was the God who was born as Yah,shua
"the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob." (Exodus 3:15)

"So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob's hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. Then the man said, "Let me go, for it is daybreak." But Jacob replied, "I will not let you go unless you bless me." The man asked him, "What is your name?" "Jacob," he answered. Then the man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome." Jacob said, "Please tell me your name." But he replied, "Why do you ask my name?" Then he blessed him there. So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, "It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared."" (Genesis 32:24-30,)

This passage also refers — not to God, the Father — but to "I AM"/Yah,shua:

"The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend.
Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.
(Exodus 33:11)
This verse refers to "I AM"/Yah,shua, because we are told that no man has seen God, the Father.

"In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple." (Isaiah 6:1)

We know that it refers to "I AM"/Yah,shua, because no man has seen the Father.

"Then Job replied to the LORD: "I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted.
You asked, `Who is this that obscures my counsel without knowledge?' Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know. "You said, `Listen now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you shall answer me.' My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you." " (Job 42:1-5)

As we seen all the scriptures I ask you how this below passage can be explained?
It is a passage of scripture which perplexed me for many years it is this one from the Gospel of John:

"Yeshua therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? They answered him, Yeshua of Nazareth. Yeshua saith unto them, I Am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground." (John 18:4-6)

I asked myself, and many others, what made the soldiers go BACKWARDS and fall "to the ground?"
No one could answer.

I noticed that "he" was in italics, which means that it was ADDED by the translators to make the passage more understandable.
I believe the fact that when Jesus said "I AM", His speaking of His own name was so powerful it knocked the soldiers to the ground!!
How els can this passage be explained ?

Moses asked God to tell him His name:

"Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, `The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, `What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?" God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM "

"This is what you are to say to the Israelites: `I AM has sent me to you.' "God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, `The LORD, the God of your fathers...the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob,has sent me to you.' This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation." (Exodus 3:13-15,NIV)

Later, when Yeshua was on this earth living as a man, He told those He was speaking directly to that He was, indeed, "I AM". Yeshua, when speaking to the religious leaders of Israel who claimed Abraham as their father, said:

"Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad. 'You are not yet fifty years old,' the Jews said to him, 'and you have seen Abraham!' "I tell you the truth," Yeshua answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" " (John 8:56-58)
