so i'm new here, i was sitting in a class the other day and was told by my teacher i am not a jew because i believe in jesus. i follow jewish practices, holidays, and ethnicity i couldn't be more jewish, i am a kohathite clan of the levites. my last name is straight out of the torah. and it angered me, i tell everybody i am a messianic jew and i am riduculed for being a "fake" or a "half breed", so i googled away and found this websight. i am just so glad to find others who understand my situation, i hope i found the right place. i believe in Jesus for he is my and everbody's salvation. shalom!

RedneckJew, same here im even considered as a goy posing a Yehudeh when my family name tells me who i am. You know what? Rav Shaul says that true Yehudeh is in faith not in rituals. And for me true Yehudeh is through faith, blood and actions, that is in order...
And having faith in Yashuah ha Netzaree as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins will not forfeit your being a Yehudeh. Dont mind those Yehudim who are so partucular with rituals and stuff they're not worth your attention. And know this; who gave them the authority to make judgement that your a Yehudeh or not?
