1 Cor 1:22-27
22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock,and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks,Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser then men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hathe chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things that are mighty;
Ther are men/women,Jews/Gentiles who argue like Job and his comforters over things that they know nothing about.
They fight over who God is...Trinity vs Oneness
Over who Messiah is ...Jesus...some dead Rabbi..some coming man
They try to make God into something they created forgetting that we are created by HIM.
God speaks clearly in the OT and NT about Jesus' birth,death and resurrection some Jews accept this some don't
Some are blinded by God, some by their own prejudices
Every one at some time comes to the stumbling block of Jesus...
Some it will crush and destroy others it will break and ressurect in His image.
The God of the Jews and the God of the Gentiles is the same after all He created us and we all go back to Adam and Eve.
Don't let the Messiah become a stumblingblock let him become your redeemer.
