4/ 7/0030 Sunday          18 Nisan; OMER 1 Morrow after The Sabbath; The 8TH Day,
Jesus resurrected after 3 evenings and 3 mornings in the grave.  Wave offering. [LEV.23:11]
                                          LEVITICUS 23:10-21

__________________________________________________________
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
"Speak to the Children of Israel, and say to them:
'The feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim
to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.
[LEV.23...]

.."If a woman has conceived, and borne a male child, then
she shall be unclean seven (7) days; as in the days of her
customary impurity she shall be unclean.
And on the eighth [8th] day the flesh of his foreskin shall
be circumcised." [This symbolizes the cutting off of sin.]
"She shall then continue in the blood of her purification
thirty-three [33] days. She shall not touch any hallowed
thing, nor come into sanctuary untill the days of her
purification are fulfilled."

So we have 7 days + 33 days = 40 days.
Jesus said to Mary, "Do not cling (or touch) Me, for I have not
yet ascended to My Father; but go to my brethren and say to
them,'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My
G-D and your G-D.'"  [John 20:17]

The ascention took place on OMER 40, 27 Iyar; May 16, 0030.
[ACTS 1:3]

How Jesus Died   Eek

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is
finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His Spirit.
Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the
bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for
that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that
their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken
away.[John 19:31]
This Sabbath was identified as a high day, i.e. an annual
Sabbath, not The Sabbath.
Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in the
tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had
ever lain before.
That day was the Preparation, and (a) Sabbath drew near.
[Luke 23:54] The Greek word "the" o' is missing. So it is an
annual Sabbath.
And they rested on the Sabbath... merely mentions "the
Sabbath" [annual Sabbath]. V. 56
Now when evening had come, because it was the
Preparation Day, that is the day before (the) Sabbath,..
[Mark 15:42] does not depict the "the," in the Greek it is a
single word "Fore-Sabbath" or "Superior-Sabbath."
The only day which regularly precedes a Sabbath and is
greater than that Sabbath is the Passover day of the 14TH.

John 19:31; Luke 23:54-56; Mark 15:42; do not prove  that
Jesus died before a weekly Sabbath!

CRUCIFICTION

This form of death was introduced by the Romans; in particularly for Jesus in
AM 4082 (AD 0030). In effect it fulfilled the Passover. In Egypt the 1ST Born
were saved if they were “under the blood” of sacrificial lamb. Crucifixion was
prophesied throughout Scripture, the most detailed being the 22nd Psalm of David.
The first was in the book of Genesis where Jesus’ heel was “bruised.”
David became king in AM 3104 (BC 948) to AM 3144 (BC 908); that is,
978 years before the fact.

The nails were placed not in the palms of the hands, but where the hands joined
the wrists. Here there is a natural tunnel where a major trunk nerve goes through.
To severe this nerve is the most excruciating pain one can feel. It also causes the
thumb to draw across the palm.

In order to breathe one has to lift his body as the diaphragm collapses. If you break
the legs one quickly suffocates. Jesus’ legs were never broken because He had
already given up the Spirit.

What is most significant is the blood and the water flowing out of His wounded
side when stabbed by the soldier.
The only way water could flow out of the wound would be from a ruptured
Pericardium. So we see Jesus’ life was not taken from Him, but He gave it; He
died of a broken heart.

Cry
Hello, Ray. Welcome back! I, for one, have missed your always-insightful & challenging posts.

And timely. We just got through studying Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 in a Bible study I teach, plus the passage in Zachariah that says they will see the one “they pierced.” So many passages describe crucifixion with such clarity, years before it even existed. It is such a powerful affirmation of the legitimacy of the Word of God.

You described the terrible pain involved in a Roman crucifixion. It’s interesting that an entirely new word was invented to describe that pain: “excruciating,” which literally means “of the cross.” Charles Wesley wrote:

And can it be that I should gain
An interest in the Savior’s blood?
Died He for me who caused His pain?
For me who Him to death pursued?
Amazing love how can it be
That Thou my God shouldst die for me?

Notice the entire song is a question: How can this happen? How can the God of the universe lay it all down and die a horrible death for me? All these years later, the questions continue to resonate with those who stand before the awful, the wonderful cross.

Robin Mark’s song “The Wonder of the Cross” has an interesting verse about the time He spent on the cross:

Were heaven’s praises silent in those hours of darkness?
Your Holy Spirit brooding ‘round that empty throne?
Until the declaration “He is risen!”
You are risen, Jesus!
He is not dead, behold He lives forever more!

There are questions in this song, as well, but then the exclamation marks!

As always, you have made me think about the practical implications of all this. I think God’s heart is still broken. I have been praying Daniel 9:4-19 for our country, repenting hard for myself and this land I love. I pray, I pray, I pray for revival.

Blessings to you,
Anne

Broken Guitar Strings

Now, Jesus came from afar,
To play lead guitar.
Came to teach us a new song,
To undo the wrong.
To protect us through this strife,
And give us a new life.
Can we be playing this song,
Doing good when you've been wronged?
Giving your life for a friend,
Who'ld get you in the end?
Now I'm tired of living,
Too afraid to die.
So it's hard to play rythm,
What's feeling inside.
No one wants to play rhythm guitar for Jesus.
It is not because they have lost the art.
No one wants to play rhythm guitar for Jesus,
On the broken guitar strings of their heart.

Hi Anne!

What happened to that sweet beautiful girl I used to know?
Now all brainy with poets and words, teaching and loving
Jesus?
Thanks for the meaning of excruciating, "of the cross." I learn
something new every day. There is no greater pain.
You have an interesting thought about Heaven at this time.
All I can say is that G-D IS LOVE; and there is no greater love
than this, that one who lays down his life for a friend.
"He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son
does not have life, but the wrath of G-D abides on him."
Yes, I agree, G-D's heart will be always broken when we think
of those placing themselves under His wrath.

Yes, it’s a bit unexpected, isn’t it? When I first heard those lyrics I thought, “Say what?” Robin Mark has said that as he was meditating on the cross, he wondered what the Holy Spirit was doing as Jesus was dying, and this idea came to him. He admits it’s just and idea, but I have come to find it very moving.

What do you think was the most awful part of the cross for Jesus? The terrible beatings? The excruciating pain? The humiliation? Of course, all of that was beyond imagining, but I don’t it was the worst of His ordeal. When Jesus wailed, “My God, why have You forsaken Me?” He was expressing His greatest agony.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says that Jesus became sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Translation: the only sinless Person Who ever lived became the garbage dump for the sins of the whole world. And because He became sin, for the first and only time in all eternity, the Godhead was separated as the Father, Who cannot look on sin, turned His face away.

For many years that has broken my heart whenever I think about the cross: the terrible separation between the Father and the Son. But I hadn’t considered the Holy Spirit. Now I do, and when we sing “The Wonder of the Cross” in church, those lyrics about the brooding of the Holy Spirit never fail to choke me up. Never.

Thank you for your kind words and selective memory, but I recall that girl from all those years ago as a baby Christian and a spoiled, selfish brat. But I did so want to be more like Him. It’s very much a work in progress, but I am thankful everyday for that cross and the Grace that God has continually poured out on my very undeserving life.

You, on the other hand, seem very much as you ever were, and I mean that in a good way: still contending vigorously for the faith, iron sharpening iron to believers and the resolute standard of the Word for seekers. I always admired that about you.

Grace & peace,
Anne
The Wonder of the Cross, by Robin Mark
From the CD “Revival in Belfast 2"

The wonder of Your cross shall be our meditation
To gather in that shadow when the sun went down
To weep with those who thought that You were leaving
You were leaving Jesus
The humble King Who never wore an earthly crown

To steal away at night when they took down Your body
With love and tears to leave You in a borrowed grave
To go with Mary to the place they laid You
Where they laid You Jesus
And in the morning find the stone was rolled away

Chorus: The cross O the wonderful cross
What glory what victory I've found
I'll come to the wonderful cross
And my whole life I lay down

Were heaven's praises silent in those hours of darkness?
Your Holy Spirit brooding round that empty throne?
Until the declaration "He is Risen!" You are risen Jesus!
He is not dead behold He lives forevermore!

Chorus: The cross O the wonderful cross
What glory what victory I've found
I'll come to the wonderful cross
And my whole life I lay down
THE TRUE MT SINAI

Jabal al-Lawz (Arabic: ĚČá ÇááćŇý) is a mountain of volcanic origin located in northwest Saudi Arabia, 28 degrees 41 minutes north, 35 degrees 18 minutes east, 2403 metres/7384 feet tall. The name means mountain of almonds. Howard Blum , Bob Cornuke (of BASE Institute), and Ron Wyatt have proposed that Jabal al-Lawz, and not the traditional Jebel Musa in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, was the Biblical Sinai. The claim is not widely supported by academically qualified biblical scholars or archaeologists, but supporters who have visited the al-Lawz site report observing features corresponding to the Biblical account.
Evidence:
Blum, Wyatt, and their supporters cite the following observations as evidence that Jabal al-Lawz fits the Exodus accounts:
• The site is already recognized as an archaeological site. The fence surrounding the pile of boulders where the cow drawings appear has Saudi signs to warn
• There is an underwater reef that spans the Red Sea at the suggested crossing point, about 50' below the surface. At this point on the peninsula there would have been no escape from the Egyptian army, except the reef, once it was revealed by the wind.
• The desert is a major requirement that exists at Jabal al Lawz, but does not exist at all, at the current site claimed to be Mt. Sinai.
• having a desert behind it that could fit[citation needed] the number of people described in the Bible (2,000,000).
• being located in ancient Midian
o thus being in Arabia Petraea, and so agreeing with Josephus, Philo, and the Apostle Paul
o and, in common with the southern Levant, and Sinai Peninsula, is on the migration path of quail
o while also not being in ancient Egypt or its dominions
• it has evidence of an ancient spring (cf. Meribah)
• a large altar at the foot of the mountain has many calf drawings (cf. Golden Calf). These drawings suggest a connection with the story of the Israelites instructing Aaron to build a golden calf idol.
• There is another man-made formation at the bottom of the mountain that appears to be a (cattle) chute formed of stones, with a pit at the end. This too agrees with a Biblical description. It appears to be a sacrificial fire pit, as Moses noted, "at the foot of the mountain of God".
• there is a cave in the mountain, fitting the description of Elijah spending the night on Mt. Horeb.
• there are large piles of rocks at the base (the biblical narrative states that the base of Sinai was marked out). They are evenly distributed along the base of the mountain approximately 400 yards apart and do not seem to have been the result of random rock slides.
• the discovery of the remains of chariots in the Gulf of Aqaba nearby.

Does anyone here have the full genealogy from Adam to Christ with references of all relevant scriptural information for verification? So I would need genealogies of Matthew and Luke linked to the Tanakh scriptures of births and deaths. So Noahs flood I have been told happened 4,400 years ago I have followed some of those dates but because of laziness I stopped at some point. I wouldn't mind access to all the working of these dates. thanks
