THE MIGHTY ANGEL with the LITTLE BOOK [REVELATION 10
V.2 He had a little book open in his hand. [Redemptive Book]
When he cried out, 7 Thunders uttered their voices.
V.7 But in the days of the sounding of the 7th Angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as he declared to His servants the prophets.
V.10 Then I took the little book out of the Angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.
And he said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues and kings.”
7 Thunders ~ 7 Feasts of Redemption
1) Passover
2) Unleavened Bread
3) Feast of Firstfruits
4) Pentecost
5) Feast of Trumpets (“Rapture”)
6) Day of Atonement
7) Feast of Tabernacles (Booths)
Preaching the Gospel is like honey in our mouths, giving us the hope of salvation. But when we see the price…that terrible price…bitterness in our stomachs.
[EZEKIEL 2:9-10]
Now when I looked there was a hand stretched out to me; and behold a scroll of a book was in it. Then he spread it out before me; and there was writing on the inside and on the outside, and written on it were lamentations and mourning and woe.
Eat this Scroll; Go Speak to the House of Israel. [EZEKIEL 3]
V. 2 So I opened my mouth and He caused me to eat that scroll.
…V. 3 So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness. [The Gospel]
Now there was a time when there were two redemptive scrolls. The one which was sealed so that it could not be altered in any way. The other stated the terms of redemption.
Eventually the terms were written on the outside of the sealed scroll.
There are three qualifications for redemption:
1.) You have to be a blood relative. [Even today, you cannot insure just anyone; so, Jesus’ incarnation.]
2.) You have to pay the price. [In the case of Jesus, His Death.]
3.) You have to want to. [RUTH 4: 5-6]
JESUS LOVES YOU!
