According to Islam..Mohammed leapt into heaven on a horse

According to Christianity...Jesus Christ rose into heaven under the power of God (since HE is God under his own power)

Islam preaches convert or die but first you have two options:
option 1 : convert voluntarily
option 2 : pay a poll tax to practise your belief
if you refuse the above then war is declared and the people are given option 3 : convert or die.

Christianity preaches Love your neighbour as yourself and show people the love of God (Yes I know overzealous people have forgotten that Jesus is a Jew and have waged war against the Jews)

Now here is my question:
Of the two only Christians are asked to prove that what Jesus did or said.  NO ONE ever has a problem with somebody hopping up to heaven on a Horse.  Could that be because true followers of Jesus don't threaten to kill people as a matter of course?
What are your views on this?

Mohammed died (living from about 570-632 AD) and was buried.  He never had anyone even see his ghost rise from the dead.

Mohammed was a child molestor, whose favorite wife was the 9 year old he married and had sex with for the next 12 years.  He died and went to hell.

Aisha was six when Mohammed engaged the child and nine when he raped / consummated with her "in marriage"  (Surah 33:28); and Mohammed himself doubted knowledge of his own eternal destiny (Hadith 5.266).  In other words, if he couldn't save himself or be saved himself...who is he to tell you or me how to be saved?

Mohammed was a schizophrenic who knew or sensed at the first that the revelation he received was demonic.  Mohammed would proceed in being a liar,

"If We supersede any verse
or cause it to be forgotten [the right to change our story and lie whenever it suits us], We bring a
better one or one similar. Do you not
know that Allah has power over all things!" (Surah 2:106)

In other words, Mohammed says that his Allah is a liar, so why not me? It is therefore the right of every Muslim to be a liar and live a life of lies and deceit. In fact, the better the craft of lying and dishonesty and perversity, the more glory in the realm of Islam [which means bondage of struggle].

"They plot and plan, and
Allah, too plans, but the best of planners
(arabic equates 'planners' with liars, fakers, bluffers, and deceivers) is Allah." (Surah 8:30).

Mohammed was a known murderer, a dog, an idolater, a fornicator, a blasphemer, and a whole lot of bad stuff that is banned from Heaven (Revelation 22:14-15, for example).

Mohammed died and went to hell until the Judgment Day, when billions of his followers will look on and wail, as the angels bind Mohammed's soul and spirit by hand and foot -- and cast him screaming in a high pitch wail into the Lake of Fire.

In that Day, mankind will hear the laughter of Satan out of his four mouths of ox, eagle, lion, and man faces...echoing across the great divide as billions and billions follow in wailing screams that sound as if a mighty ocean were pouring out to feed the Lake of Fire.  And for all we know, that literal lake might be likened to the sun itself...but who knows?

But to equate Mohammed with G-D?  Please take it somewhere else.  Thanks.
prophet,

I think that most (esp. media after the cartoons caper) will not participate in a challenge about Mohammed and his horse ride to heaven because of the violence that is sure to follow.

There is an "unfair" treatment because the gulf is so wide.  Who would want it narrowed to where an unbeliever could then be "so near, and yet so far" from the gospel.  I rejoice in the difference made between Jews/Christians and the rest of the world.  It's one more thing that calls attention to the significance and uniqueness of the gospel of Y'shua Messhiach.
As Baptistic says...the gulf is so wide.  That gulf is pictured in Luke 16 in the example of the rich man in hell who lifted up his eyes from the depths he was at, and saw the safe place in which Lazarus and Abraham were at.  What is the cause of this gulf?  Sins.

Isaiah 59:

2  But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

3  For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

4  None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

The chief thing that the rich man was guilty of was a failure to love his neighbor as himself, especially Lazarus.  Not only did he deny Lazarus scraps, but he muttered perverseness.  This muttering is found in the preaching of false theology, cursing one's fellow man in unjustified profanity and crude jokes, and the speaking of anything deviant in sinful defiance (or to this effect).

The dipping of the finger in water to cool the tongue is an act of priestly forgiveness.  When a priest blesses an individual with oil, one of the rituals is to apply oil with the finger to the right earlobe, the right thumb, and the right big toe, and then use the finger to scoop more oil from the left palm and throw or spray the individual 7 more times with oil.

The suggestion was not only Lazarus being comforted by Abraham, and resting upon him like John upon Jesus at the Last Supper...but also that there were waters of rest in Paradise, and that Lazarus was scooping his left hand in and up out of the waters at the time of the rich man's call.  The left hand was considered the arm upon which the leather strap was daily wrapped after the word "Shadai" - "Almighty". Shadai is interpreted by the rabbis (under its division in Gematria) as "He who says, Enough! Stop!"

By his own accounts, Mohammed was possessed by demons, and clled his own deity a liar and the best of deceivers.  Mohammed knew himself to be as imperfect as the Gadarene demoniac, and yet insisted that he was the mouthpiece for his deity.  Mohammed was never even sure of his own redemption, and was an outsider to his deity and the heavenlies, not even all that sure (at times) if he was even pointing people in the right direction.  He seemed only to hope that by blood-letting -- and by this successful path of subjugation -- that this means of killing justified his theology; and that by murder, the world would be fixed.

Jesus was the ultimate insider.  Jesus came forth from the very bosom of G-D the Father as His spoken word and reason.  Jesus spoke of Heaven and angels as that of one who was there, and came from there as His origin.  You never hear of Jesus saying "I came from Bethlehem, or thus and thus a place".  It is always..."I came down from Heaven," or "I came from My Father [in Heaven]".  Jesus spoke of having the Father's authority in Himself, and the ONLY one to whom all humanity must come.  "Of old time it was said...but I say unto you..."  In other words, at the sermon on the mount, Jesus equated Himself with HASHEM who spoke to Moses.  And later, we find that He says He is HASHEM who spoke to (not only Moses, but) Abraham.  Jesus puts Himself, therefore, as the center of the religious universe of Judaism: "Follow Me...I am the Way, the Truth, and the Eternal Life...."  He knew He was morally perfect, and from Heaven...and spoke and acted the part perfectly.  Why?  Because He was and is from Heaven as G-D from G-D, Light from Light, very G-D of very G-D: begotten, not made...etc.

So the choice is easy.  Whom are we to believe?  Some lunatic who was like the Gadarene demoniac, acting as someone who was out of his mind as an extreme danger to himself and others?  Or G-D the Son, Jesus Christ, come down from Heaven to redeem us to Himself?  The gulf is as vast as that which exists between Heaven and Earth to this day.  We choose Jesus Christ, first - middle - last and forever.  Shalom.
