"Same here... I'm sure there are many more... But I do find this very powerful!"
Can they really be counted?
I know where the first one is!
"And I will put enmity between you (serpent) and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." [this happened at Calvary] GEN 3:15

ye if there were soo many, why would the new testament have to fabricate prophecies out of thin air? Which book is the prophecy that Matthew 2:23 quotes, found in?

Dear Jack.
Thanks. This is really great. Unfortunately the whole of the Body of Christ is suffering today because of a generel apostasy and apathy. I met christians who say they have a difficulty with the Old Testament, especially because of all the violence and blood in there, and some would even like to exclude It. By receiving the paper you point to, they can maybe understand how crucial the Old Testament is and come to love it as much as they love the New Testament

and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets: "He will be called a Nazarene."
MATT 2:23
Yehoshua-Eliezer-Menachem
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.("G-D with us")
ISA 7:14
Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him,
He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by G-D, smitten by him and afflicted.
But he was pierced for OUR transgressions, he was crushed for OUR iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds WE are healed.
He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent so he did not open his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away....
Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the *spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. ISA 53

in the morning he devours the

in the evening he divides the

"I baptize with water," John replied, "but among you stands one you do not know. He is the one who comes after me, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie."
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look the Lamb of G-D, who takes away the sin of the world!"...
"I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him."
..."The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit."
"I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of G-D." JN 1:26-34
Nazarene: at first applied to Jesus as defining his residence. In the process of time its population was held in little consideration. The name of Nazarene was but another word for "despised one."
Hence, although no prophet has ever said anything of the word Nazarene, yet all those prophecies describing the Messiah as a despised one are fulfilled in his being a Nazarene.
The Hebrew word for Nazareth was Netzer, a branch, or rather germ...
[from its insignificance] Yet through Jesus, fill the earth with its importance.
The Christians were called Nazarenes (ACTS 24:5), a contemptuous appellation, as the followers of Jesus, whose presumed descent from Nazareth stamped him as a false Messiah.
