"AMEN!!! What an awesome example of a physical action (type) being moved forward to a greater spiritual meaning even before the New Covenant began. It can't be said any clearer than that. Thanks!!"
There are other examples such as the physical rest of the sabbath followed by the spiritual rest from the works of our flesh and the faith in a heavenly rest to come.
By the testimony of two or three shall every word be established. It may be wishful thinking on my part, but it seems that YAHWEH would prove himself true and prove his promises true by the way he has presented his word to two groups pf people who were not a people prior to his chosing to reveal himself to them.
Of course that brings us to the nation of Israel...G-d's people by physical birth...then their are those who are Christian or Messianic who are G-d's people at the time of their spiritual birth or re-birth....and there is the promise in 1 Corinthians 15 that we will one day bear the image of the heavenly, and of course there are already heavenly beings who are G-d's people.
This is a way of looking at scripture that fascinates me even though I'm usually called crazy for speaking about such things. Thanks again for adding Jeremiah 4:4 to my list of scritpures relevant to this type of study.
Peace

Yes, you certainly are on the right path.
The physical rest of the Sabbath is only a sign of the true eternal
rest we have in Christ. You could say that Christ is the Sabbath.
But this does not mean we change the Sabbath [the 7th day] to
a Sunday as we would lose the sign.
Also, although we dwell in the Spirit of the Law, we have no right
to omit the 2nd Commandment [making idols] as this is an
abomination to G-D. This is a lack of love and respect.
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good
works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets.
I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away,
one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law till all is
fulfilled."
[MATTHEW 5:16-18]
"Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these
Commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called
least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever does and
teaches them, he shall be called great in the Kingdom
of Heaven."
[MATTHEW 5:19]
"For whoever shall keep the whole Law, and yet stumble
in one point, he is guilty of all."
[JAMES 2:10]
For as many as are of the works of the Law are under the
curse; for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who does not
continue in all things which are written in the book of the
Law, to do them."
[GALATIONS 3:10-11]
BUT THAT NO ONE IS JUSTIFIED BY THE LAW IN THE
SIGHT OF GOD IS EVIDENT, FOR
"the just shall live by faith." [which worketh by LOVE]

" Ray, do you see a development from physical to spiritual to heavenly taking place? I know flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven. I see a physical temple...then the description of the spiritual temple found in Ephesians 2:19-22 and 1 Peter 2:3-6...then there is John's Revelation which makes referrences to the heavenly temple. Of course there are sacrifices for each temple...Yeshua himself being the heavenly sacrifice."

If we are the Temple of G-D if so be that the Spirit of Christ
dwells within us; how can the antichrist set up the "abomination
of desolation" in the temple?
The sacrifice in this temple, as you know, is the sacrifice of our
lips.
