I have several questions and I am not sure if this is the right place to ask?   First, whoever wrote the Forum rules has a great sense of humor!!!  Smile..
Does Jews For Jesus have a statement of faith somewhere? What is the chain of command here, who are the forum owners and administrators? How does the moderated membership work? Is there a time or a point where after so many posts or so your posts will not be pending approval? How many posts before you are a member or a senior member? How is reputation status determined ? I have seen green, red , and grey...I think the green are owners or moderators, but then I am not certain ...lol

Yes. See their main page and "About" section.

I think it's Mr. Moishe Rosen, founder; Asher and Mr. Rich, moderators.

You can't post too many posts, maybe even more than one, within 60 seconds, and have to wait 60 seconds to post another.

I would think close to what Nancy (seekmosttoprophesy) posted counts as senior member, where as members are just registered.

I'm not certain either, and I think some moderators have grey status.

[size=x-large]I am Moishe Rosen, and I am responsible for the Forum. Jews for Jesus has a doctrinal statement you can find it here:

http://www.jewsforjesus.org/search?cx=01...D%3A11#794

I try to moderate the forum a couple of times a day.  My office is in my home and sometimes I am working at the forums in the middle of the night. I was born in 1932 and my health keeps me from doing my best. I have been in the hospital about 5 times since the beginning of the year.
Rich Robinson tries to cover for me when I am out. He is our resident theologian (Ph.D from Westminster Seminary) and our research librarian. He has to do his own work before he does the forums.

Asher is my grandson. He installed the software program for the Forum but I haven't been able to learn it well enough. So we are not doing as well as we want.

If someone posts a lot in a day I usually take the first six posts. I don't want anyone to do more than 25% of the posts in any one batch. We don't want this forum to become the pulpit for any one person.

Being a member or senior member is something I don't know about yet. I will try to find out more. Asher made me to be a senior member. He lives in my home but he is very busy with school. I will try to ask him.

I just figured out the reputation thing and I will try to judge things fairly. I was really the only one on staff who liked forums enough to commit myself to the task. I will try to get someone to volunteer. It needs to be a staff person because of the possible liability. Maybe that will change soon.

Actually, if more of our staff members would look in on this forum I would think they would want to volunteer. Generally speaking I think there are quite a few people that they would  like and with whom they would enjoy interacting.
Thanks Moishe, I guess we take your work for granted. Ill bet thath glorified body is looking better every day. God bless.

So, Asher Rosen or Asher Bond? In other words, is Asher's mom Ms. Lynn or Ms. Ruth? I read somewhere on the JFJ site or a sub-page that Ms. Lynn is married to Alan Bond.

I never did think about that. Sometimes when I didn't see some of my posts on there, I'd be thinking, "Uh oh. Why isn't my post on there? Did I go too far in saying something?" Either way, I have to be careful with what I say.

What's Asher studying? Is he in college or graduate school?

How old and where in school would one have to be to volunteer? I just turned 17 in January and am going to graduate high school in 2008, but if I could do some forum volunteer work without a degree or being over 18, I'd volunteer. By the way, I'm a Gentile; so, would that disqualify me from volunteer work since I'm a Gentile, not Jewish, believer; or does it matter either way?
