THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST

Romans 1 -16-17
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith as it is written the righteous shall live by faith.
Romans 2 –11
For God shows no partiality.
Romans 4 -23-25
Righteousness will be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.
Romans 3 -20-26, 29
For by works of the law shall no human being be justified in His sight since through the law comes knowledge of sin.
But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law although the law and the Prophets bear witness to it, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe.
For there is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified by His grace as a gift through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Whom God put forward as a propitiation by His blood to be received by faith.
This was to show God’s righteousness at the present time so that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Ephesians 2 -8-9
For by grace are you have been saved through faith and this is not your own doing it is the gift of God not a result of works so that no one may boast.
Romans 5 -8-9
God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.
Since therefore we have now been justified by His blood much more shall we be saved by Him and His life in us from the wrath of God.
Romans 5 -1-2
Therefore since we have been justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 8 -1-2
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Can I use this post when debating with my ex-seminarian uncle?

Hi,

Since I started this thread, I feel like I'm on my home turf. The initial intention was to provide an easy sense of the simple faith life in Christ.

You know, one mediator between God and man, the man, Christ Jesus.

Jesus never masqueraded as a priest, He was given that title. (Rabboni)

Actually, as I am thinking, Did the disciples ever call him by His first name? Like, Thomas maybe?

Worshipping Him would have been a direct contradiction to the Torah....
unless you knew him as the Lord.

Worshipping Him (Jesus) is not a contradiction to the Torah.

Coincidentally, I posted the following on another Christian Forum to which I also subscribe.

Four Spiritual Laws to the Roman Road.

THE FOUR LAWS

Law 1

God loves you:

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

Law 2

Man is sinful and separated from God.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)

"For the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23)

"But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God" (Isaiah 59:2).

Law 3

Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin.

"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me" (John 14:6)

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

Law 4

We must individually receive Jesus as Saviour and Lord.

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12)

"if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved" (Romans 10:9)

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8).

THE ROMAN ROAD

Romans 3:10: "As it is written, 'There is none righteous, not even one...'"

Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Romans 5:12, "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned."

Romans 6:23,: "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 5:8, : "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 10:9-10: "if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

Romans: 10:13, : "For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved."

I am going to print one of these and make a tract. Nothing is being done on the issue of the environment either, maybe I will include the first color mentioned in the visible spectrum of light green. Yes , you see infrared 700 nanometer~ all the way to ultraviolet 400~. Just trying to figure particles and waves leads us to the creator of all things. (:8{)
