I honestly admit I have opened this thread with more than just a little passion. As a Christian, even though Islam itself is my deadly enemy (and even more so a deadly enemy to the Jews), I do not allow that to quench my love for the precious Muslim people, whom Jesus loves and gave His life for. My Saviour requires me to love my enemies and He gives me spiritual love to do just that.
However, there is a HUGE obstacle. Here in England and also in India (the only places I encounter Muslims) they have been brainwashed that Crusades against the Muslims were against the Jews also and where CHRISTIAN CRUSADES. I honestly don’t know if the Jews think the Crusades were Christian - PLEASE BE ASSURED THEY WERE NOT! There is the clearest proof the Crusades were Roman Catholicism at its hellish!
As a Christian I believe we must stop ’pussy-footing’ around this issue and declare to the Muslim people and indeed to the Jewish people the Crusades WERE NOT CHRISTIAN - THEY WERE ROMAN CATHOLIC! Further, that the Roman Catholic SYSTEM (not the individual Roman Catholic believer) is part of the Anti-Christ system revealed in the Book of Revelation.
In 1074, Pope Gregory VII called for the milites Christi ("soldiers of Christ") to go to the aid of the Byzantine Empire in the east. The Byzantines had suffered a serious defeat at the hands of the Seljuk Turks at the Battle of Manzikert three years previously. This call, while largely ignored and even opposed, combined with the large numbers of pilgrimages to the Holy Land in the 11th century, focused a great deal of attention on the east. When the city later fell, the Jews were burnt inside of their synagogue while the Crusaders "[circled] the screaming, flame-tortured humanity singing 'Christ We Adore Thee!' with their Crusader crosses held high." The event of the Jewish massacre comes from various Muslim records written decades after 1099.

The Crusades were a series of several military campaigns—usually sanctioned by the Papacy—that took place during the 11th through 13th centuries. I found this in "Theopedia" dated 2005, the monograph above the article stated the article "needed some cleaning up."
With the glut of semi-facts and facts we find on some of these sites, I can see that.
I have worked with Muslim men and found them to be quite friendly and willing to work together with me on different tasks, specifically construction clean-up, albeit together with the right leadership we were to be found capable of much more.

Its funny the Crusades were to liberate Jerusalem from the Saracens yet
more Jews were killed by the Roman Catholics than Saracens. The liberation of Jerusalem was a smokescreen for a genocidal war against unarmed Jews sorta like what those gutless Palestinians are doing today.
The more things change the more they stay the same. The Roman Catholic Church is no more a freind of Israel now than it was a freind of the Jews back in the 11th Century.

Salvation is a personal thing between you and God. Jesus told the Roman soldier to continue being a soldier under Rome. So I would be carefull about judging crusaders as they didn't have what we have. Computers, written Bibles, able to read. A lot of them just were willing to fight and die for Jesus their Saviour. That's sort of like saying stop mentioning that the SS threw men,women and children into the ovens at auschwitz because all the SS weren't there. They knew what was going on and were doing the same elsewhere. It doesn't excuse them from responsibility after all they did nothing to stop it Neither in the 11th Cenury(Crusaders) nor in the 20th Century(WW2) and I notice the absolute silence of the Vatican during the Holocaust.
