I wanted to address the email that myself, like many others, received today from Moishe Rosen.

I will first adress my feelings towards it (politely, and constructively) and then put the text of the message below.

I want to stress that this is NOT an anti J4J post. I feel no ill in particular towards the J4J's OWN views, and do not feel threatened in the slightest by them.

While J4J is entirely entitled, not only to their religious views and the freedom to congregate and express themnselves, through all forms of media --

No other religion or religious group (save for falun gong) so heavily and, at least seemingly, so overzealously pushes their brochures and pamphlets around in as public an arena as possible (Major subway stations and social hubs), giving the appearance of doing their best to "attack" non-messiaic Jewish neighborhoods.

That's just how it seems, and most obviously comes across to many.

Ultimately, we will all have to wait for the day, when please g-d, Moshiach comes, to see who he truly is.

Phil,

The email did not just go out to "those who disagree." Please re-read the email carefully, and you will see that it is directed at people who are not willing to be respectful in their disagreement. We welcome those who disagree; we do NOT welcome those who cannot be respectful in their disagreement. It's reasonable for our moderator to draw a line in the sand, as it were, regarding posts whose only purpose is to display contempt and hostility.

Just as with your post last year during our BYG campaign, your post contains a red herring. You imply that we attack Jews, and that is disingenious of you. No one has anything forced on them by Jews for Jesus. We offer an opportunity to discuss who Jesus is, with those who are interested. If you're not interested in taking that opportunity, you have the right to simply walk past. Most people who aren't interested do so, Phil, and to be perfectly honest those of us in Jews for Jesus have no interest in talking to someone who doesn't want to speak to us.

Yes, we go to major subway stops and social hubs, Phil. Why? We want to share what we believe with our Jewish brothers and sisters, and the public arena is the only place left for us to do so. Put simply, Jewish believers in Jesus are not welcome in most synagogues or JCCs.
I got that email too and I'm a supporter. My guess is that it went out to everyone.
The email was sent to both those who agree and those who disagree--I received it too.

The news of the gospel of the coming, death, and resurrection and return of Moshiach (Y'shua) must be made as public as possible:

Acts 26:26  For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.
I feel left out, I didn't get it...  Smile
I am glad to hear that posts will be
moderated to eliminate flaming, insults
and disrespectful comments.
I applaud the moderators...

Why wait? It will be then be too late then to start believing! As an ex-atheist I can assure you personally that He will reveal Himself to you in a very real and living way by the Holy Spirit, just like He did with Peter; if invited.

15He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

(Matthew 16:15-18)

Revelation 1:7
Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen

Messy-

I didnt imply anything. I stated that it gives the appearance of an attack.

And the J4J do not offer info on who Jesus IS. The info is on who the J4J see him as; who they think he is.

When the final days come, and we all redeemed, we shall see who is right.

That is what I have said, that is what I am saying, that is what I will say

I cannot find any scriptural authority which says "we are all redeemed" on "the final day".  I assume (I am open to Biblical correction)  by the "final day" (I note you pluralise this to 'days') you mean 'the judgement day'. Those who are ALREADY redeemed will enter Heaven and those who are not redeemed will go to hell.

Is my understanding correct in your belief? If not, can I please seek your BIBLICAL clarification.

I actually meant when Moshiach will come, and our days in the reality we know ends, and the new, better ways are ushered in.

As in we will see who Moshiach is when Moshach is revealed to us/

as for biblical references associated with our being redeemed and r saved, i can refer you to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_eschatology
which should give ya some of them (as well as rabbinic ones.

I'll look back in a few days for any further responses.
