I can finally create polls, and I've been able to acquire much more knowledge since my last questioning. So, before voting, know a couple of things:

  1. "Jew" does not apply to faith alone, but ethnicity. In other words, non-Messianic Jews will be "non-Messianic Jews", even if they are not Jews by faith.
  2. If one of your parents is Jewish, you are Jewish. If you are like Obed- whose mother and grandmother were both Gentiles-, you are still Jewish. I would say you become a Gentile with Jewish ancestry if one of your parents is like Obed and the other is a Gentile.
  3. I'm going to call you out on it if you say any of the following:
    • (S)he's not Messianic; so, (s)he's not Jewish.
    • (S)he's Jewish only if (s)he practices Talmudic or Hasidic Judaism, or if h(is)(er) mom is Jewish.

I base my criteria off of Romans 1-12 and Matthew 1:4-6.

I was finally able to get the poll up; and as I made the poll, I remembered that I don't know if I'm Jewish, Gentile, or Gentile with Jewish ancestors. I remembered how my dad once said that my last name, ______cki (I will not disclose the rest), was Americanized from the Polish "______tski". But my relationship with my dad's family is strained; so I'd have to research, but I know that "ski" or "sky" is a common Jewish suffix.
