The American Embassy in Baghdad is said to be larger than the Vatican and built at a cost of billions of dollars. Many say correctly that in reality it is a fortress. I say it is a fortress for the god of fortresses, Satan!
Just one more sign that that America is Babylon the Great! One day the US led coalition will invade Jerusalem from this fortress. Open your eyes saints of America. We are exiles in Babylon the Great. Don't let your love of country blind you. Look closely with a holy eye and you'll see it.

Why not be literal?

Doesn't it make more sense for Rome to move back to Babylon--uniting the left behind Christians with the Muslims using Mary, which both revere--so that God can complete the destruction of Babylon literally? I mean, if Damascus is the real Damascus, why wouldn't Babylon be the real Babylon? The Church could use the new coliseum in Babylon as a way to publicly execute Christians, like in the old days of the Roman Empire! Nothing keeps a people united like seeing a common enemy destroyed physically daily. By the way, I hear that your new American Embassy will really be the new UN headquarters.

This is not to say the America won't be exterminated. But I don't know Biblically if this is the case or not. Pick your choice for America's destruction: 1) Rapture, 2)natural disaster, 3)terrorist attack, 4)internal or external take over, 5)combination of 1,2,3 or 4. It doesn't really matter to me. While I'm here I'm a watchman for America. But my loyalties are to the King, not the country when the country stops serving the King.

You said in one of your posts that San Fransisco is like Sodom and Gomorrah. But God didn't destroy S & G as long as 10 righteous could be found. As long as Jews for Jesus and other Christian organizations are in San Fransisco, I don't see how San Fransisco will go by by. This changes in the case of the Rapture, though.

At any rate, whether the USA or something else, the verse suggests strongly a move to a literal Babylon, which would make a literal destruction of Babylon (not the USA necessarily) more likely. Besides, Babylon (which was never a democracy) describes an ancient evil; America and democracy are relative new comers to the neighborhood, and other countries are far more evil than America, though we are very sinful. How do you interpret Zechariah 5? And while I think Gog of Ezekiel 38-39 may be a Nimrod or the antichrist, I don't believe Bush is the antichrist, a mighty warrior, or a Nimrod.]

And I'm looking forward to the soon return of my God and Saviour, Jesus the Messiah. You would have thought Jesus would have said something to me. But no worries. It may very well be that God will destroy San Fransisco for its sin. But truthfully, is San Fransisco any worse than other places? If you are going to say there is a one-to-one connection to the S & G story, then let it truly be one-to-one. When a stranger goes to San Fransisco, do mobs of men beat at the hotel room door and demand to "know" him? No? Then San Fransisco is not quite Sodom and Gomorrah yet; and therefore, not quite ready for destruction. Besides, you still have more than 100 righteous people left in San Fransisco. Can I suggest a book to you? Eye to Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel by Bill Koenig. Koenig uses hard data (mostly) to show that every time America messes around in Israel, God sends us a catastrophe. It's not brilliant writing--in fact, I can't even finish it, the writing is so bad--but you might like what Koenig has to say (the lists and charts are worth the price of the book). He makes a very good case that might tie into your beliefs.]

pretty much all nations are guilty of this. what about Japan? i can make the same argument about a differet nation. Most of there games are violent They produce alot of cartoon porn which america caught from them etc etc...
