The House of Jesus is not Kosher!
As was discussed frequently, the un-kosher practices of most Christians make the Church which is “The House of Jesus” treif (I.E. not kosher). Therefore it is unfit for Jews to “live in!” I still am of the opinion that Jesus does not belong in Judaism (except as a historical curiosity). However, those who believe otherwise should be koshering the “House of Jesus” so that it is suitable for “Jewish habitation,” rather than trying to attract Jews to this unfit environment.
The fact that a few Christians may not go along with these practices does not make a suitable environment for Jews. You need to clean up the act of your fellow Christians first!
Here are some (only a few) of the unfit practices:
- Moving the Sabbath to Sunday (it’s Friday sunset until Saturday sunset).
- Elimination of the biblically mandated Chagim (festivals) and the substitution of others. The bible prescribes Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Passover, Shevuot, and Sukkot. Most Christians celebrate Christmas and Easter!
- Putting crypts under churches (or churches over crypts), instead of burying the dead away from where people live, work, and prey.
- Refusal to allow abortions to save women’s lives. The born have precedence over the unborn when a direct conflict exists!
- Christian Anti-Semitism. This certainly exists in many denominations!
- Worship of other than G-d, especially Mary and the saints. This includes “graven images” as specifically prohibited in the fourth commandment (Exodus 20). This commandment says “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:”
- Repudiation of Jewish practices such as dietary laws, clothing regulations, etc. Reform Judaism has made many of practices these “optional,” but has not eliminated them.

RE: The House of Jesus is not Kosher!
Don't call that which God has cleansed unclean
Should I follow men or God
The festivals were a foreshadow of Jesus
Christians don't worship Mary but we know she is greatly blessed among women, are rabbi's worshipped
Abortion makes you a murder
There are no crypts under the Churches I attended
Christians celebrate the Birth and Ressurection of Jesus
Happy hannakah(sp)
We are not under the Law
Sunday the day of the Lord's Ressurection

RE: The House of Jesus is not Kosher!
As was discussed frequently, the un-kosher practices of most Christians make the Church which is “The House of Jesus” treif (I.E. not kosher). Therefore it is unfit for Jews to “live in!” True, not just a Jew, but any sinner who wants to ignore God will find the House of God unfit to live in. You finally are speaking some sense. I still am of the opinion that Jesus does not belong in Judaism (except as a historical curiosity). He's still of the opinion that refusing to follow Him will mean choosing to live in hell for eternity. However, those who believe otherwise should be koshering the “House of Jesus” so that it is suitable for “Jewish habitation,” rather than trying to attract Jews to this unfit environment. Sounds like someone thinks J4J is doing a pretty good job.
The fact that a few Christians may not go along with these practices does not make a suitable environment for Jews. You need to clean up the act of your fellow Christians first! Agreed! This nonsense that we don't have to evangelize the Jews is totally treif. Worse than eating pork. Eating pork can constipate you. But not having Jesus will kill you. We must convince other Christians to get on the ball and join J4J! Otherwise, the Jews we come in contact with will end up in a very unsuitable environment for the soul!
Here are some (only a few) of the unfit practices:
- Moving the Sabbath to Sunday (it’s Friday sunset until Saturday sunset). What is more important, to have the body show up for Sabbath or for the heart to show up for Sabbath? But your assumption that Jews are more godly because they worship on the right day is flawed to begin with. Where I live, the Orthodox want to put up a special "string" around the beach so that they can use the beach on Sabbath. Such nonsense proves that Sabbath is only a mindless, heartless ritual for the them.
- Elimination of the biblically mandated Chagim (festivals) and the substitution of others. The bible prescribes Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Passover, Shevuot, and Sukkot. Most Christians celebrate Christmas and Easter! We also celebrate birthdays and other things. So do Jews. Where in the Tanakh does it say that it is permissible to contradict the Tanakh elsewhere and get drunk on Purim? Where is Purim even a biblically mandated holiday? I don't see anything in the Tanakh about religiously washing my hands. Is that wrong, too? You strain a gnat and swallow a camel.
- Putting crypts under churches (or churches over crypts), instead of burying the dead away from where people live, work, and prey. Gentiles are not Jews. They, too, have traditions. Perhaps they are wrong to do such things. But considering that Jews can't even decide among themselves to what level the Tanakh should be followed, I don't see why you should be so concerned with Christians. Put your own house in order first, then come and help us correct our flaws.
- Refusal to allow abortions to save women’s lives. The born have precedence over the unborn when a direct conflict exists! This is a very controversial topic. The fact that Christians even disagree within the fellowship only shows how complicated it is. Can you show me in Tanakh where it says that born have precedence over the unborn when a direct conflict exists?
- Christian Anti-Semitism.This certainly exists in many denominations! Jewish prejudice against gentiles--"They are treif"--always exists. Your point? By the way, I'm a Christian. Read all of my posts. Do I sound like an anti-Semite? Ask RemoveMe, formerly Hstn, who is a Jew, if I'm an anti-Semite. Ah, but I forget your prejudice against me will prohibit you from taking the time.
- Worship of other than G-d, especially Mary and the saints. This includes “graven images” as specifically prohibited in the fourth commandment (Exodus 20). This commandment says “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:” I don't worship Mary saints, or anyone else besides God. In fact, I stand with Jesus when He said in Matthew 12:50, "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." There are problems with Catholism, but you are assuming that Catholicism is Christian. Some us don't make that mistake. In fact, I can give you a few Christian books, if you like, to help you witness to Catholics. Why would these exist except that many Christians don't recognize Catholics as saved. Decide who are arguing against. By the way, didn't Moses break the whole making an idol thing when he made the brazen serpent? Was Moses treif?
- Repudiation of Jewish practices such as dietary laws, clothing regulations, etc. Reform Judaism has made many of practices these “optional,” but has not eliminated them. First, these practices are as optional for Christians as they are for Reform Judaism. Using the Biblically mandated practice of equal measure, if you allow for Reform Judaism to view them as optional, you must allow for Christianity to do so, as well. However, the fact that you have to throw in Reform Judaism proves that you know how silly your argument is. Second, show me in Tanakh where it says that you need to have two kitchens. Let's go back to the drunkenness on Purim and the ritual hand washing. Where are they in Tanakh? Where in Tanakh does it say you have to light a candle on Shabbat? Don't bother telling me that they are in the Talmud or elsewhere. If God didn't say it, then man did. And to me, that's not kosher to believe in.
What good, Shlomo, is it to buy a girl flowers if your appearance and behavior does not please her?
What good, Shlomo, is it to buy God's love with your righteousness when He sees your righteousness as filthy rags?

The sabbath is saturday and I know what and that the day I go to church on and sundays at times.
Sadly some christians do forget the festivals of yom kipper etc... but alot christains beleive Jesus fullfilled those days and having him is keeping the festivals.
I am sure they did not the crypt was there before or they would of dig it up before playing the church.
abortion God says I know you before you were born. seems like God beleive you are lvie to him even before you were born!
we do not hate jews
some christians do not worship mary and dead bellievers some do sadly but I think you need to dig deeeply on what makes something an idol.
diety laws same for us there we do not stop people from following it. its their choice. I dont think we should get rid of them. speaking for my self dont know about others.

RE: The House of Jesus is not Kosher!
Shlomo: There are many issues that you bring up that would be in the church's best interest to cease and seperate from. The hebraic roots of Judaism display Messiah much more clearly than pagan practices integrated within it. From where I minister I have seen great strides within the church to learn where to seperate truth from tradition.
Today I adressed our fellowship on the tallit and fringes. As you presented, these things were mandated coverings which "all" Abrahams children need to Shema and practice {especially as they point to the "Sufficient Covering" in Messiah's atonement}.
I couldnt agree more. Messiah makes us "kosher" before God but it is up to us to sanctify the relationship. But there are more issues than what you bring here. You could easily have added the fullfillment of the sacrificial system for a kosher base. Lets start with the Lamb!!

RE: The House of Jesus is not Kosher!
It is true that there are many things that Christians can learn from Torah observances however not everything you are saying is true.
Good Friday and Easter are the same observance as Passover and the Feast of First Fruits. The difference in the date is the solar calender that is used instead of the lunar calendar. There was also poor judgment used with the name change of Passover to Easter. Most languages still use the word "Passover".
The other things mentioned either don't apply to many Christians or it is something that is debatable.
Shlomo, you gave your list of things you believe Christians should change and I agree with some of them. There are also Jewish practices that should be addressed. How does killing a chicken relate in any way to Jewish practice. I realize that every time we eat a chicken, we participate in the killing of a chicken but as far as a religious practice, it was never a part of Torah teaching. In fact, most rabbinic teaching has little or nothing to do with the provision of God that He provides for us Himself described in Torah so your practices are not Torah practices.
Jewish teaching needs to teach much more of what the Bible says.
Shalom Shlomo!
Remember love, remember shalom, and remember to prophesy.

The House of Shlomo is Treif! Part 1
As was discussed earlier, the idolatrous practices of Judaism's lineage has placed those who are "Jewish" in a place of hypocrisy for accusing Christians of what they themselves likewise commit and have historically committed for many hundreds years more.
Therefore, Judaism itself is often unfit for Jews to live in...especially schisms of rabbinic Judaism which uplift man and personality above Torah...biblical Torah (Genesis through Deuteronomy...and above the rest of the Tanach as well.
The very verse of Psalm 27:1 testifies (in the Hebrew) that that "Light" or "miraculous coming sign", who is "raised up"...raised up, lighted, kindled as a burning flame (cf. Parshat Behaalotecha opening verse).
Parshat Behaalotecha
The Sidra opens with the command to Aaron to light the lamps of the Menorah, the seven-branched candelabrum that stood in the Sanctuary. The symbolism of the Menorah and the act of lighting, is the theme of the Sicha, together with Aaron’s.
In Ethics of the Fathers, Hillel teaches us that a disciple of Aaron is one who loves and pursues peace of mind, body, and spirit in their own lives and the lives of others; while drawing them near to Torah. Christians bear this good fruit as if disciples of Aaron...anti-Christians and the anti-missionaries do not. At best, the fruit of the anti-missionaries is as if figs of thistles...for us alone, and as for you...you people who aren't one of us are intruding. That's the attitude, and has almost always been for the last 3000 years since Solomon...with one exception: Messhiach's restoration of Torah (and Torah intent) via Christianity.
Hillel and Aaron did not lower the Torah; they "raised" or elevated those who heard their words through Instruction, through Torah.
The Sidra opened with the command, “When you light [literally, "kindle, lift or raise up’] the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the candle-stick.” We are to lift up Christ as our Redeemer, and accept what He has done for us upon the Cross. On the Temple Menorah, the other six flames representing the 7 Spirits of G-D will bend toward Christ and see that He is glorified among men. The Instruction of Aaron to his disciples, was that the Temple Menorah had their branch wicks bent by the priest to "bend" or "bow" toward Messhiach, even as Joseph's brothers bowed their sheaves to his ('V'hinei"). The consequence of this was that the Temple wasn't so much lit, but that the focus of all who beheld the Menorah could behold Christ.

The House of Shlomo is Treif! Part 2
The lamps of the Menorah of the Sanctuary are NOT a symbol of the Jewish soul, as it is taught—“The lamp of the L-rd is the soul of man.” Rather, the 7 lamps, which are One, represents the 7 Spirits of G-D; and the Jewish soul is to be found in just ONE of the candlesticks...and particularly, in the very One that represents Yeshua...the breath of our nostrils (Lamentations 4:20, Genesis 2:7).
Only a priest could prepare the lamps, setting the wicks and the oil; and this is done by those prophets and priests who wrote the Bible.
We also learn, that once the right persons have "prepared" the Menorah, that even a person who was not a priest could light the lamps.
Finally, the Menorah could only be lit in the Sanctuary of the Temple. If we are talking about the application of the individual, that Menorah lays within the Sanctuary of every man, woman, and child...and is within. For the Kingdom of G-D precedes the earthly institutions of the Church, and the Synagogue; and will outlast them both.
The Kohen and Apostle John taught:
9 [Jesus] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and His own received him not.
12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of G-D, even to them that believe on His name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of G-D. (John 1:9-13)
In Chabad Judaism, it is asked and answered:
What is a priest? In the time of the Temple, when Jews first possessed their land, the priests had no share of its territory. “G-d is his inheritance,” his only possession. This was his sanctity. In Rambam’s words, “Not only the tribe of Levi, but any man of any place whose spirit is willing . . . to separate himself and to stand before G-d and to minister to and serve Him,” he and only he is the mentor in whose footsteps we must follow.
In other words, even Judaism at its sages give full legal allowance and credence to the Apostles and the New Testament. For a group that chooses to bicker about being meticulous about rulings and precedents, it sure sounds like a criticism from the prophets might be appropriate.
6 Wherewith shall I come before the L-RD, and bow myself before the high G-D? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
7 Will the L-RD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
[Be it an abortion clinic, or the Valley of Hinom as offered to Molech..."good" Jews on Shabbat, "bad" Jews on Tuesday throwing their babies as offerings to idolatry. Maybe Shabbat and Temple sacrifice is supposed to excuse these sins?]
8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the L-RD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy G-D?
Therefore, the grace offered by the Churches in Christ, the Kuriakon (those belonging to the L-RD), is perfectly consistent with even the contemporaries of Isaiah...and not Isaiah alone.

The House of Shlomo is Treif! Part 3
Finally, I address the unfit practices listed by [purple] Shlomo:
Here are some (only a few) of the unfit practices:
Moving the Sabbath to Sunday (it’s Friday sunset until Saturday sunset).
Perfectly acceptable as a celebration of G-D's Kingdom which precedes and supports both the Church and the visitation on Sinai. Sabbath was made for man, not vice versa. We fulfill something greater than that which was used to teach a nation of idolaters who couldn't stop from their fornications and idol worships. They were a nation that always wanted to have it both ways. Christians are supposed to be a people with a graeter emphasis on G-D and how it will be in Christ. We are 8th Day people in Christ the Second Adam...no longer wanting to be tied to Egypt and bondage in the First Adam who fell.
Elimination of the biblically mandated Chagim (festivals) and the substitution of others. The bible prescribes Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Passover, Shevuot, and Sukkot. Most Christians celebrate Christmas and Easter!
Remove Santa, shopping, and the Easter Bunny; and the last two aren't that bad. If we can effectively and lovingly "raise up" Messhiach in and through the Festivals...which may not happen until He does so in the Kingdom...then we should bring them back. Notice that Shlomo ignores First-fruits, which is Resurrection Day / Easter. Maybe has a bad neck and can't carry a 7 tiered fruit basket on his head? MAKE THE BASKET SMALLER!!!
Putting crypts under churches (or churches over crypts), instead of burying the dead away from where people live, work, and prey.{sic} Had to do with an historical context, and protection from grave-robbing etc. Non-starter.
Refusal to allow abortions to save women’s lives. The born have precedence over the unborn when a direct conflict exists! The "I can't live without a cell phone", or the Paris Hilton "I can't live unless I go to a nightclub" argument? Use the Bible passage about the eggs and the mother bird, if you wish to come off less idolatrous.
Christian Anti-Semitism. This certainly exists in many denominations! Jewish anti-Christianism is even more hot blooded and prevalent. Both are wrong.
Worship of other than G-d, especially Mary and the saints. This includes “graven images” as specifically prohibited in the fourth commandment (Exodus 20). This commandment says “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:”
I heartily concur.
Repudiation of Jewish practices such as dietary laws, clothing regulations, etc. Reform Judaism has made many of practices these “optional,” but has not eliminated them.
This deals with matters of conscience, and grace. To repudiate is to divorce, cast off, disown. Most Christians who are born again will agree with reform Judaism's "optional" stance on the subject. Now unless you are willing to "repudiate" Reform Jews as really being non-Jews, do we hear an "OOOPS" on that one?
For someone demanding perfection and kosherness in others, you sure have enough blemishes or foreign objects in your approach, Shlomo. Let's see...one alien drop in every 600 kosher drops is still allowing one to have kosher soup; but you have at least half your drops as alien, making what you dish out as treif.
"Son, kiss that dish and soup good-bye!" {""crash"" - tinkle, tinkle}
"Clean up at table 7!"
Or perhaps as you might say? OOOOPS!!!
