Christians don't eat pork
#1
Actually, Christians who believe the Bible don't eat pork either...

Unclean traditional Christianity teaches the religious lie that Jesus "did away with" the dietary laws, sinning against both God and man (1 John 2:4; Matt 5:17-20). Don't you believe them! Reject such sloppy swill!

Those dietary laws were for the physical nation of Israel only.

The Ten Commandments are for all.

btw .......... you don't have to eat pork if you don't like it.

Amen,
Romans 14 states that we should not destroy the faith of others by our allowances.
"[It is] good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor [any thing] whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak."
Should we insist on our right to eat pork even when it is revolting to someone else? I think it is safe to say that Jesus, as a G-d fearing Jewish man, never ate pork. Paul never states that he had, but he gives guidance on what to do "if" meat had been sacrificed to idols. Paul is not saying that all things are clean, but there are things unclean, but not by their own account.

"I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that [there is] nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him [it is] unclean." Here I think he could be talking about clean animals and other food made unclean by people.  For example, God told Haggai to go to the priests and say.."

"If one carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with the edge he touches bread or stew, wine or oil, or any food, will it become holy?"'" Then the priests answered and said, "No."And Haggai said, "If one who is unclean because of a dead body touches any of these, will it be unclean?" So the priests answered and said, "It shall be unclean."Then Haggai answered and said, "'So is this people, and so is this nation before Me,' says the LORD, 'and so is every work of their hands; and what they offer there is unclean."

I have wrestled with this question many years. We don't intentionally buy pork, but if we are at a dinner and all there is to eat is pork then we will eat it. Perhaps a bigger question is when we go to a Chinese or Indian restaurant and they have a big statue of budha or other idols in the foyer or next to the cash register, should we eat there? We don't know if the chicken, duck or beef had been dedicated to an idol? What about the knives, forks, and spoons that the chef uses to stir or cut the meat? Had they been properly washed before touching pork or an unclean fish? I think it's better to not ask or you will be stuck home raising your own food on a microfarm and living in a bubble.

When Av YHWH said to Adam "have dominion over these animals..." What did Av YHWH means with that?

I am not critical over that pork issue but passing judgement towards Goyim believers it's another story. Jews are Jews and Goyims are Goyims... Some provitions in the Scripture are applicable only to Yehudim...and that includes Kashrut.

Christians don't eat pork. Pagans and other heathens do.

Yes, and rightly dividing the Word of truth, one sees that it can't and doesn't contradict Yeshua's upholding of the dietary laws, the Acts 15 Council's upholding of the dietary laws (symbolized by the prohibition against blood), etc.

Paul was a strict Christian Pharisee (a good thing), and would never have spoken against the Word and Will of God on this matter, as too many wrongly believe, misled by traditional error.

Hi Sammy......how do you determine which commandments
were only for Israel, and which for the rest of the people?

Thanks,

There is symbolism here.  Ba'al is lord of dung, and thus of nothing.  Jesus is above all things and in Him all things hold together.  Everything is made out of Jesus.  This is the starting point.  The law is going to eventually seeing everything as impure if you go down that road.  See Titus 1:15.

That is why in Mark 16:8 it says you can eat poison.
