Why the notion of a “Second Coming” is not acceptable
(12-05-2013, 07:26 PM)Tricia73 Wrote: Hosea 5:15 states: I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early (earnestly/diligently).
These verses do not mention messiah, they do not even imply him. Hashem has been rejected (Hos 5:4-7), as well as the Torah (Hos 4:6-7). To understand what it means to see Hashem's face, please read the thread "Jacob and Gen 33:10".

Hos 3:4-5 shows that Israel would be many days without a temple. When Israel repents, then Hashem's blessings and the temple returns, Hos 5:15.

The verses in Hos 6:1-2 refer to Israel, "us", being smitten of G-d. This has nothing to do with J-sus resurrection.
I disagree with the unacceptability. He had already returned by the time of the temple's destruction.
YahIsMaster, can you elaborate on your point, please?
